Frances didn't know exactly how Tapu Koko had brought Arman to the conference room.

In any case, the moment Frances laid eyes on Arman, his eyes widened in shock.

"This... this... this..."

Tapu Koko nodded happily, clearly satisfied with Frances's expression of disbelief.

"Koko~"

This is what the deity asked me to bring here secretly.

Don't make a fuss about it.

Tapu Koko had a good temperament, and even its telepathic tone carried a playful meaning.

The guardian deity gestured a 'shushing' motion with its shell-hands toward its own mouth before disappearing.

Frances quickly grasped the full importance of this situation.

Frances kicked the unconscious Arman, his face filled with disgust.

He still remembered the phone call from Captain Lucas, which had been about the betrayal of Elite Arman.

This was a traitor who had defected to the Illuminati.

No—more precisely, this was a spy who had been planted in France from the very beginning.

Frances found it darkly amusing at first, but then he thought of Elite Ryland again, and the smile faded from his face.

He sighed deeply, wanting to transport Arman to a more secure location.

Feeling uneasy about leaving the prisoner unguarded, he released one of his own Pokémon to stand watch.

Then he went to make phone calls to contact other high-ranking personnel.

This matter absolutely required more professional people to handle it properly.

Although Frances's authority was quite high, it would still be somewhat difficult to lead someone away without a trace under everyone's watchful eyes.

What's more, Frances was genuinely famous throughout the region.

He knew very well that the moment he stepped out of this door, eyes would already be on him from all directions.

Therefore, he needed assistance from China's leadership.

In the subsequent briefing, Frances repeated Tapu Koko's words verbatim, word for word.

Of course, he didn't forget to mention who the Divine Envoy was.

It wasn't necessary for Frances to speak Roy's name aloud—those who occupied high positions were already intimately familiar with that name.

When he finally turned to leave, the corners of Frances's mouth couldn't help but rise slightly.

There was genuine hope for China's future.

However, when he spotted Henry eating mindlessly, he simply gave the young man a light knock on the head and walked away.

"All you know how to do is eat!"

This left Henry looking utterly baffled, trying hard to recall whether he'd messed up anything recently...

Night was falling, and for some people, it was destined to be a sleepless night.

But Roy, who had received such widespread attention back on Earth, was currently setting up his tent under the light provided by Chandelure.

Kommo-o shook its massive body, indicating that it was going to rest in its cave, and asked Roy if they wanted to join it there.

Roy looked at his tent, which was admittedly a bit more comfortable than sleeping in a cave, and waved his hand.

"No, but shall we meet here again tomorrow?"

Kommo-o nodded without saying anything more, its agile body quickly disappearing into the darkness of night.

Roy's face felt warm from Chandelure's gentle heat.

Although darkness was settling in, it didn't stop any of the Pokémon from studying diligently.

Mimikyu stood at the front, taking the lead in demonstrating the Aura Flow technique.

Then it communicated with the other Pokémon one by one, correcting some of their mistakes—like treating the Aura Flow as a toy disc to spin above their heads.

Roy also laughed out loud when he witnessed Mimikyu and Blastoise squabbling together over the same fundamental question.

He had to admit that a simple-minded Pokémon's thought process was quite different from that of a studious one.

Roy raised his head to gaze at the stars scattered across the sky, thinking that the other trial-takers should have returned to Earth by now.

Time passed this way—with Mimikyu learning Aura Armor during the day, and everyone gathering for meals together at night.

This continued until one day, during normal practice, Mimikyu appeared with a faint golden armor of light covering its disguise.

Roy and Salamence had been exploring the terrain of Alola's spirit realm from mid-air, and they rushed back to Melemele Island immediately after receiving the news.

Mimikyu bounced excitedly and jumped into Roy's arms.

"Kyu!"

I learned it!

Roy examined the faint halo surrounding Mimikyu's form, which couldn't be seen at all unless one looked very carefully.

And since it was still daytime, it was only possible to notice even a little bit at such a close distance.

"That's amazing! You learned it in just a few days!"

Faced with Roy's enthusiastic compliment, Mimikyu raised its chin proudly beneath its disguise.

"Kyu~"

After I become more proficient, this layer of light will disappear completely.

Even Kommo-o was genuinely surprised by Mimikyu's learning ability.

"Kommo..."

Mimikyu's learning speed is faster than I anticipated.

Especially after mastering the correct method, Mimikyu progressed at an incredible rate—like a completely different Pokémon in just one day.

After saying their farewells to Kommo-o, Roy and his team climbed onto Salamence's back and flew toward Poni Island's geyser field.

During this period of time, Tapu Fini had been uncharacteristically working like a supervisor on a construction site.

That's right—in just a few days, the blueprints for the new temple to be built above the ruins of the Altar of the Sunne had been distributed to all the Totem Pokémon who guarded the various islands.

For the time being, Roy and his team couldn't camp near the dark tower for an extended period.

Roy had been searching with Salamence these past few days for a suitable location to pitch their tent.

First and foremost, it had to be on Poni Island. Although with Salamence, their travel between islands was very convenient, humans always had a particular mentality when facing either treasures or dangers—as long as things remained within their line of sight, it could greatly reduce the possibility of losing valuables or increase the chances of avoiding risks.

After establishing that requirement, things became much easier.

The central part of Poni Island featured a valley. There was a forest in the southeast, an open field to the east of that forest, and the geyser field to the south.

The most comfortable wilderness area would indeed be an excellent choice.

However, considering the training needs of his Pokémon, it was more appropriate to stay near the geyser with its unpredictable eruption patterns.

Beneath the geyser was said to be an active volcano, and every eruption of the geyser brought some magma up to the surface.

Roy was considering whether to add additional weight bracelets to Lucario's training regimen.

Lucario had also mentioned that the bracelets used for daily practice could be slightly increased in weight.

The air currents above the geyser field became complicated and turbulent because no one could predict when the geyser would erupt.

This environment was perfectly suited for Salamence to practice after gaining insight into Lugia's authority over wind and flight.

In their current situation, the one who needed the most intensive practice was definitely Salamence.

He needed to integrate into this large family as quickly as possible so that he could cooperate smoothly with his other teammates in future battles.

There was also the power of Aura that needed to be added to the training agenda.

Thinking about it this way, the next few months were going to be incredibly busy and intense.
