Chapter 201 - Chapter 201: Overwhelming Power

Boom...

Boom...

Sean's wand shook continuously as he cast spell after spell, and balls of brilliant yellow flames bombarded the magical door repeatedly, erupting with violent roaring explosions. Flames soared high into the air, explosive shockwaves rippled outward through the corridor, and the enchanted door shook violently under the assault, with faint cracks spreading steadily across its reinforced surface.

The surrounding Slytherin students knew instinctively that a serious conflict was about to break out, but they had never imagined it would escalate so violently and so quickly. Some of the more intelligent observers had already retreated a safe distance, realizing immediately that the situation was far more dangerous than initially apparent. They had originally thought this was just going to be a minor disagreement or verbal conflict, but now it seemed abundantly clear that the problem was extremely serious!

At the same time, inside the Slytherin Brotherhood Reserve Organization's private gathering place, the members of the Reserve also felt the powerful explosions and violent vibrations caused by the repeated Bombarda spells striking their door.

They looked at each other with confusion and growing alarm, completely unsure of what was happening outside.

"What is going on out there? Does anyone know what is happening?" one member asked nervously.

"I do not know at all. Surely they would not come directly to Hogwarts and attack our meeting place gate, would they?" another responded doubtfully.

"If they are not attacking our gate specifically, then is it simply someone who has gone completely mad and is looking to cause serious trouble for us?" a third suggested.

"Let us go out immediately and take a look. No one will know what is actually going on until we see the situation for ourselves," someone finally decided.

"I will go check it out first. You others should—"

BOOM!

CRASH...

At this precise moment, everyone inside the Slytherin Brotherhood Reserve Organization suddenly realized with shock that their magically reinforced gate had been completely breached!

"What a familiar place this is! Revisiting an old location truly makes me feel quite nostalgic," a calm voice observed.

Hearing this distinctly familiar voice, both Samuel and Irina exchanged a meaningful glance and said almost in perfect unison, "Sean?"

As Samuel and Irina's voices fell silent, a beautiful pure white snake—as thick around as a python—entered the damaged room first. Just as the magnificent white serpent swam smoothly into the chamber, a familiar figure surrounded by protective white snake coils appeared directly before the Slytherin Brotherhood Reserve Organization's shocked eyes.

Sean Bulstrode!

That name immediately surfaced in absolutely everyone's mind simultaneously.

"Sean, was that explosive attack just now your doing?" Samuel asked carefully.

Turning to look directly at Samuel, Sean nodded calmly and smiled slightly, saying with complete honesty, "Yes, it was indeed me."

Samuel knew Sean well enough by now; he understood that Sean would never do anything so drastic without a very compelling reason. He frowned slightly with concern and asked seriously, "Sean, how exactly did our Slytherin Brotherhood Reserve Organization offend you to warrant this?"

Ever since Sean's magical strength and impressive academic achievements had grown so dramatically, persistent rumors had spread throughout Slytherin that he had secretly gained substantial influence and support from the powerful Bulstrode family. His current status within Slytherin House had clearly surpassed that of most other students by a considerable margin.

Because of this newfound power and reputation, Sean now possessed the genuine ability to confront the Slytherin Brotherhood's reserve organization directly head-on.

Looking directly at Samuel with unwavering eyes, Sean said bluntly and without hesitation, "Samuel, and Irina as well—you two should step back immediately. This particular matter has absolutely nothing to do with either of you personally. Considering our previous relationship and mutual respect, I genuinely do not want to negatively affect you in any way. However, if you choose to stand up for the Slytherin Brotherhood Reserve Organization despite this warning, then I will not show any mercy whatsoever."

Hearing these serious words, both Samuel and Irina's expressions became stern and grave, but in the very next second, they both stepped forward and stood firmly in front of Sean, blocking his path.

"We are sorry, Sean, but we are the designated leaders here now—we cannot simply step back and abandon our responsibilities," Samuel stated firmly.

"So that is your final decision..." Sean sighed with genuine regret, then pulled out his wand and said directly to both Samuel and Irina, "In that unfortunate case, then I can only be extremely rude to you both. I genuinely did not expect that one day I would actually have to go to war against you two specifically."

"This is not about personal feelings or individuals—it is about positions and responsibilities," Irina explained quietly.

Upon hearing Irina's words of explanation, Sean immediately swung his wand forward, instantly unleashing a bone-chilling supernatural cold throughout the entire chamber.

"Glacius!"

In a single instant, the entire room was blanketed completely in a thick layer of frost and ice. The biting chill seeped into everyone's body painfully, freezing even their blood and slowing their movements.

Frost-based magic is extremely rare throughout the wizarding world, and Hogwarts has virtually no professors whatsoever who specialize in this particular type of elemental magic. This crucial fact meant that Sean's Glacius spell caught the Slytherin Brotherhood's reserve group completely off guard and unprepared.

The intense freezing cold significantly slowed down both Samuel and Irina's attempted counterattacks.

However, Sean himself remained completely unaffected by his own spell, and with his natural cold resistance, he was able to strike directly at both Samuel and Irina even immediately after casting Glacius!

"Petrificus Totalus!" Sean cast at Samuel.

"Protego!" Samuel countered desperately.

"Stupefy!" Irina fired at Sean.

The grayish-white petrification spell blazed directly toward Samuel's position.

At the same time, Sean swung his wand defensively in front of his body, and a shimmering blue-white magical shield appeared blocking his path. The spells cast by both Samuel and Irina created two distinct ripples across the surface of Sean's Shield Charm. Simultaneously, Sean swung his wand again with practiced ease, firing a red Stunning Spell from bottom to top, once again directed precisely at Samuel's center mass!

Samuel retreated repeatedly while maintaining his Shield Charm, staring at Sean with genuine horror and disbelief.

Irina felt equally shocked by the display. They had both known intellectually that Sean was quite powerful, but even with two experienced duelists against one third-year student, he was still clearly suppressing them both effortlessly. This extraordinary level of magical strength was far beyond the normal level expected of any student.

With another casual wave of his wand, Sean easily blocked both Samuel and Irina's desperate follow-up spells.

Sean then waved his wand gently with focused intent.

"Shadow of Boggart!"

As Sean cast the Shadow of Boggart ability, Samuel's vision of Sean standing before him instantly transformed into a terrifying water ghost rising from dark depths, seemingly threatening to drag him down forcefully into the bottomless depths of a deep pool. In Irina's altered perception, Sean's form transformed into her deceased grandmother, who was now snarling at her with stern fury and disappointment while swinging a punishment whip threateningly.

This sudden illusory change, despite both Samuel and Irina's formidable mental fortitude and training, still caused a momentary distraction in their concentration. Their defensive movements slowed noticeably in their fear and confusion. Sean instantly caught and exploited that critical moment of weakness.

"Petrificus Totalus!" he cast at Samuel.

"Stupefy!" he followed immediately with a shot at Irina.

Two precisely aimed spells struck both Samuel and Irina in rapid succession.

Samuel's entire body froze rigidly in place, completely unable to move even a single muscle, while Irina collapsed heavily to the stone floor, rendered completely unconscious by the Stunning Spell.

The quick and decisive execution of defeating both Samuel and Irina simultaneously was a truly horrifying sight for all the other observers present, especially for the guilty thief who had invaded Sean's room. He glanced desperately at the destroyed gate leading outside and immediately attempted to flee through it to escape.

But at that precise moment, a white serpentine shadow rapidly grew larger as it moved, wrapping itself tightly around the fleeing figure's body. Kulkan's red snake-like pupils shone with an eerie supernatural luster. The figure, now entangled completely by Kulkan's coils, desperately tried to draw his wand in resistance, but beneath her petrifying gaze, his entire body stiffened dramatically, even taking on a grayish rocky texture and hue, as if he had been truly petrified into stone.

Meanwhile, Sean turned smoothly and approached the immobilized figure at a measured pace, a faint cold smile flashing briefly across his face. He asked with deceptive calmness, "When you sneaked into my private room and tried to steal the experimental data for my research thesis, did you honestly imagine that the consequences would come so quickly?"
