Chapter 322 - Despicable

Just when Thor was being brutally beaten by Hulk, the audience erupted in a mix of boos and cheers. At the same time, two large men with sunspot-like tattoos approached Blaine from the left and right, moving slowly toward him.

After all, when Blaine first appeared here, the Grandmaster had already noticed him, so it was impossible for him to know nothing about Blaine.

These two burly men looked extremely ferocious, clearly gladiators under the Grandmaster's command—seasoned fighters at that. They were likely just the first probes sent to test Blaine.

The Grandmaster probably wanted to find out exactly who Blaine was, so he sent his subordinates to feel him out.

If Blaine were just an ordinary audience member, killing him wouldn't matter. But if he turned out to be someone important, the Grandmaster would need to use certain methods to make Blaine stay here forever.

Perhaps these two enforcers thought their movements were flawless, without a single gap to exploit, but they didn't realize that Blaine had already noticed them.

Blaine knew with just a twitch of his toes that they had been sent by the Grandmaster. And judging by their posture, they clearly weren't here to negotiate or politely invite him.

So before the two could get close, Blaine directly used mind control to scramble their spirits. Their mental power collapsed into chaos, and the two men instantly became dull and vacant.

They stood there blankly, eyes staring forward without focus, arms hanging limply at their sides, drool slowly dripping from their mouths. The two idiots were very much alive—but completely useless.

This was only the first wave. There were more coming.

Up on the viewing platform, the Grandmaster waited for news that never arrived and turned his gaze toward Blaine's direction. Upon closer inspection, he saw that his two vanguards were frozen in place.

It was probably at that moment that the Grandmaster realized Blaine was no ordinary person, so he sent several more people over.

Although these newcomers didn't look as vicious as the previous two, Blaine could still sense a strong killing intent from them.

This time, they were smart enough not to waste time. They walked straight up to Blaine, surrounded him, and ordered him to go with them.

The surrounding spectators saw that these were the Grandmaster's men and hurriedly backed away. No one dared speak up for Blaine—nor did Blaine need it.

But Blaine truly couldn't tolerate the tone these people used. Was this how someone spoke when inviting another person?

That commanding, overbearing tone made it sound like an order—'his' order. After hearing it, Blaine couldn't help but wonder if they really believed he should fear them and obediently comply. They were treating him as if he were the Grandmaster's servant.

Faced with people like this, Blaine naturally chose to ignore them completely, acting as though he hadn't heard a word. He crossed his arms, casually swept his gaze past them, and continued watching Thor's fight.

If this weren't Sakaar—if the tenth-level star core hadn't yet been found, and the mysterious metal key hadn't vanished—Blaine would never have swallowed this humiliation. Their tone alone was enough to get them killed a hundred times over.

But these people were the type who only pushed further once given an inch. Seeing Blaine's silence, they mistook it for weakness, and their mouths quickly filled with filthy words.

Suddenly, Blaine released a trace of killing intent. In an instant, a cold wind swept across the ground. Several of them thought Blaine was about to make a move—never expecting that he would strike first.

At first, Blaine had thought the Grandmaster wanted someone to invite him over. He never expected that, if he couldn't get what he wanted, the Grandmaster would resort to force.

Since that was the case, why should Blaine give him any face? When dealing with enemies, Blaine had always made an example of them.

In a blur of motion, one man was seized and had his arm driven straight into another man's thigh. A third had his leg twisted upward, hooked around someone else's head. In less than a minute, Blaine had tied them all together—using their own arms and legs as restraints. Just like that, several people were crushed beneath his feet.

After this, the Grandmaster finally calmed down. He didn't dare send anyone else to provoke Blaine.

But in the end, he still couldn't hold back. No—this time, he personally sent two beauties to deal with Blaine.

"Hey, wouldn't it have been fine to do this earlier?"

"You aliens really don't know how to handle things."

"Do you really have to get beaten before you learn?"

Smelling the fragrance drifting from the two beauties walking ahead of him, Blaine felt indescribably refreshed.

"Sir, what did you say?"

The beauty in front seemed to notice Blaine muttering to himself and turned her head, asking softly.

"Uh… uh…"

"Nothing, nothing."

For some reason, hearing that gentle voice made Blaine's heart beat faster. Especially when their eyes met—those red, phoenix-like eyes filled with admiration—Blaine found himself unable to speak coherently.

"Damn it, damn it."

"What's going on, Blaine?"

"We're gentlemen. We can't have such evil thoughts."

"Your job is to be a Bounty Hunter."

"What you love most is making money."

"Women are just a burden—a burden."

"Don't be fooled by appearances."

"Hold on, hold on."

"I've endured for so many years.s;

"I can't lose my footing at a time like this."

Hoo… hoo…

Blaine hurriedly took several deep breaths, forcibly suppressing the heat rising in his chest.

Yet for some reason, he felt as though a strange seed had already been planted deep in his heart. It would take someone with the right destiny for it to take root, sprout, and grow into a towering tree.

"Could it be that I'm… yearning?"

At one moment, Blaine felt that his thoughts were too depraved. He had even imagined finding a woman—and that woman's figure had unexpectedly become that girl, Gali.

"Hey, hey, hey."

Blaine quickly shook his head, forcefully banishing the thought.

It wasn't that he didn't want to—it was more that he was afraid. After all, Gali was Galactus's daughter. And who was Galactus? The Devourer of Worlds, one of the five primordial creation gods of the universe.

With Blaine's current strength, even if he had a hundred times the courage, he wouldn't dare touch the daughter of the planet devourer.

If Galactus ever found out, he wouldn't hesitate to cross countless galaxies just to take Blaine's head.

"Sir, we're here."

"Please come in."

The voices of the two beauties pulled Blaine back from his wandering thoughts.

Before he knew it, they had arrived at the glass door behind the viewing platform. The two beauties bowed slightly, opened the glass door for Blaine, and gestured invitingly at the same time.
