Chapter 183 - Chapter 183: A Sensation in the Universe

Humiliation — the kind that burns deeper than any wound — was something Thanos had rarely experienced. Only one person in the universe had ever dared to shame him before, and even then, that individual was incomparable to this woman standing before him now.

He despised it.

He despised looking up to anyone.

He despised losing control.

And at this moment, rage consumed him like a roaring volcano. The Mad Titan's fury erupted, shaking the barren world beneath his feet. The mighty Thanos, who once calculated every move with precision and cold patience, was now losing his composure entirely. His crimson eyes blazed like twin stars of wrath.

Everything — absolutely everything — had slipped from his grasp.

He had once manipulated Loki to test Asgard's response. Then came the Chitauri invasion of Earth, a mission that was supposed to be simple — retrieve the Mind Stone, crush resistance, and tighten his grip on the cosmos.

Yet, because of this mysterious woman, he lost the Mind Stone.

Because of her, his grand plan had to begin prematurely.

And now, when he was on the verge of seizing the Power Stone, she had appeared again — standing in his way like fate itself mocking him.

Worse still, she had forced him to destroy his own fleet, a humiliating act witnessed by countless eyes across the galaxy. The memory of those flaming wrecks burned deeper than any wound.

It was too much, even for Thanos. The weight of his fury pressed against the soil until a buried stone cracked and glowed faintly purple, resonating with the energy of the Power Stone nearby.

Across from him stood Bella, the woman who had single-handedly derailed his cosmic ambitions. A faint, knowing smile curved her lips. She could read the lie in his fury, the cunning hidden behind the madness.

Her sharp intuition told her one thing — this wasn't just rage.

It was strategy.

"He's pretending," Bella thought. "He wants me to believe he's lost control… to lure me in."

Thanos the Deceiver. She almost laughed. Even in the midst of fury, his cunning shone through.

Yet, Bella didn't care for mind games. She stood tall, her golden hair fluttering gently in the wind, eyes fixed on the warlord before her. Around them stretched a wasteland of shattered stone and drifting sand, where once a thriving city had stood. The faint remains of slate streets glimmered beneath the dust — echoes of life wiped away by war.

A quiet breeze rolled through the air, carrying with it the metallic scent of ruin. Then, without warning —

Boom!

The ground beneath Bella's feet exploded as she launched forward like a golden comet, her body tearing through the air. She didn't waste another thought on Thanos's schemes.

The two titans collided.

A blinding burst of sparks ignited as her fist met his blade — the massive double-edged weapon forged from Uru metal itself. The reflection of their faces shimmered across the blade's surface: two warriors locked in an eternal struggle, two souls burning with opposing wills.

Across the galaxy, the clash between Bella and Thanos on Planet Xandar — once known as the jewel of the Nova Empire — sent shockwaves of awe through the universe.

This was not just a battle.

It was a cosmic event.

All eyes turned to this confrontation. Every galactic empire, warlord, and syndicate tuned in through holographic surveillance. The Mad Titan, infamous for his cruelty and unmatched power, was facing someone equally terrifying — and she was winning.

Thanos had long been a symbol of fear. His invasions were ruthless, his authority absolute. The mere whisper of his arrival sent civilizations into panic. Yet this time, he was not the hunter. He was the hunted.

When he descended upon Xandar, entire fleets had scrambled to observe from a safe distance. None had expected a mysterious golden-haired woman to appear and challenge him in the heart of the capital. And when she unleashed that one devastating attack — a cosmic-scale explosion that obliterated Thanos's entire vanguard fleet, including the massive Sanctuary II mothership — the universe trembled.

One woman. One strike. One annihilation.

It wasn't just shocking — it was impossible.

She had displayed power on par with a universal calamity.

And now, as her duel with Thanos raged, the entire cosmos watched in silent anticipation. This was more than a fight; it was a shift in destiny. The balance of the universe itself was tilting.

On a distant world — a planet renowned for its advanced civilization — a council of armored beings gathered in a grand, angular hall filled with floating lights and silver pillars. The room gleamed with the artistry of a thousand galaxies. At the top of a vast staircase sat an old man, regal and frail, yet commanding the respect of every soul present.

Before them floated a vast holographic screen, projecting the live feed of the battle on Xandar. Bella and Thanos were mere figures to the naked eye, but their power was unmistakable — waves of energy rippled across space itself.

Gasps filled the chamber.

"I can't believe it," murmured one warlord in disbelief. "She's matching Thanos blow for blow! Her strength, her speed — they're both superior to his!"

Another nodded, eyes wide. "And that blast earlier… that wasn't technology. It was raw energy, as if she channeled the core of a dying star!"

"Her power is divine," someone whispered. "Could she be a descendant of an Old God?"

"No doubt," replied a scientist in a metallic robe. "Her bloodline must be ancient — her aura is too pure. Perhaps from the lost lineage of the Blue Star, the birthplace of humanity."

The room buzzed with speculation, their voices rising like waves. Yet, the old man on the throne remained silent, his sharp eyes studying the display. In that reflection of battle — flame and fury — he saw something both terrifying and magnificent.

"This woman," he murmured, "will change the universe."

Far away, within the golden halls of Asgard, the very air trembled. Though the All-Father Odin had fallen into deep sleep, his wife Frigga now sat upon the throne. The hall was filled with gods — Thor, Loki, and the warriors of Asgard — all gathered before a shimmering screen conjured by ancient runes. It displayed the same cataclysmic duel on Xandar.

Every Asgardian eye was fixed on the two figures locked in combat.

Each blow sounded like thunder, each swing like the birth of a storm.

Thor's blood boiled. His hands gripped Mjolnir so tightly that lightning crackled across his arms. "By the Norns!" he exclaimed. "Look at her fight! She's incredible!"

He wanted to leap into that battle, to swing his hammer beside her. The thrill of combat coursed through his veins. Loki, standing beside him with his usual smug expression, merely rolled his eyes.

"How barbaric," he muttered, folding his arms. "Always impressed by fists and fire. She may be strong, brother, but refinement is not her weapon."

Thor ignored him. The room's tension peaked as the mighty blade of Thanos nearly sliced the land apart — and Bella responded with a burst of golden light that shattered it.

Boom!

Half of the battlefield vanished in a blinding flash.

Even Loki was struck silent.

On the throne, Odin stirred, his single eye opening to watch the radiant warrior on the screen. His voice, aged yet powerful, filled the chamber:

"She is… remarkable."

His tone carried both admiration and awe. For the All-Father, who had seen countless warriors rise and fall, such praise was rare. His words echoed through the golden hall, leaving everyone stunned — even Thor, who had never once heard his father praise anyone so openly.

Since his childhood, all Thor had known were Odin's lectures and reprimands. But now, his father's solemn approval hung in the air like divine judgment.

Beside Odin, Frigga smiled softly, her graceful face glowing with wisdom. "I thought she might one day be remembered across the stars," she said gently. "But I never imagined she'd reach such strength so soon."

"To overpower Thanos himself…" murmured an Asgardian guard in awe. "That's beyond divine!"

Odin did not respond. His face returned to its usual calm, but Frigga knew that spark in his eye. Beneath the stoic exterior, the King of Asgard was genuinely impressed. He saw in Bella the same unstoppable will that had once driven him to conquer realms.

And as for Thanos — Odin's expression hardened.

He had always despised the Mad Titan.

To him, Thanos was not a god, not even a true king — merely a butcher of worlds, a creature who mistook destruction for strength.

Now, seeing Bella push him to the edge, Odin's lips curved faintly. Perhaps fate was finally correcting its course.

Across every corner of the cosmos — from the shimmering empires of the Kree to the shadowed citadels of the Sovereign, from the Nova Corps ruins to the sanctuaries of the Celestials — beings of unimaginable power stopped to watch.

The universe held its breath.

Two figures — one of golden light, one of infinite darkness — clashed in the dust of a broken planet.

And in that moment, the universe witnessed the birth of a new legend.

Bella, the mysterious warrior who stood unafraid before the Mad Titan, had become a cosmic sensation — a name whispered in reverence and fear across a thousand worlds.

The battle for the universe had only just begun.
