We're finally geared up, standing at the base of the climbing wall like a bunch of slightly uncoordinated superheroes about to face our first villain.
Harnesses clicked, ropes checked, shoes painfully tight but somehow sexy, chalk on our hands making us look way too serious for humans, and Jiang… well, Jiang is just staring at the wall like it's the most fascinating planet he's ever discovered.
I glance at him. "Uh… you sure you know what you're doing?"
He grins, eyes sparkling, like he's about to discover a new species or, worse, pull me up the wall with his alien super strength. "Of course. Observation is first step. Then action."
Zeyan rolls his eyes, muttering something about near by kids being dramatic, while Yuyu is already halfway up the wall, ignoring all safety protocols and looking like a competitive ninja.
