The middle-aged man sounded utterly confident.
But Luo Fei kept feeling he might be lying.
So he gave him a reminder.
"Sir, if this wasn't you, that would be for the best."
He watched as Luo Fei gazed at him faintly.
His tone was slow and deliberate, word by word.
The man, however, fell silent for a moment, then drew a deep breath.
"Officer, I admit I've had some impulsive thoughts, but they were just thoughts. And I believe that kid will crash and burn sooner or later anyway."
When he said this, the man's expression was dead serious.
Luo Fei couldn't help being surprised.
"I didn't expect you to actually think that way."
What Luo Fei said made the other man neither confirm nor deny.
"Yeah, never mind anything else—just from the last time I met him, I could clearly feel something off about that boy. He feels like he's too precocious, his whole person gives off a kind of aura that doesn't match his age."
The man's explanation made Luo Fei suddenly see it.
