Han's gaze did not linger on the notification for long.
Breaking his physical limit and evolving to the next stage would take time. A lot of time.
How strong he would be by then was still a question, but one thing was certain.
He would be monstrously strong.
Insanely so.
Han lifted his eyes from the system screen and looked around.
The forest.
What was once peaceful had been wiped clean. Completely. Dead bullwolves lay everywhere. Their corpses were grotesque, twisted, burned to ash and blackened bone. The air still carried the stench of scorched flesh.
The ignition shot had done far more damage than he predicted.
Good.
Now he was certain. This part of the forest had been erased of beasts. Wiped out down to the roots.
So what next?
Han stood there with his usual calm, then started walking forward again. Hands still casually tucked into his pockets. His expression composed. Undisturbed. As if the carnage around him was nothing more than scenery.
