The Mermaid of the Mei Jia race has a very peculiar habit. During their tail-sleeping, their body surface secretes a small amount of fragrant liquid.
This liquid makes their bodies incredibly smooth but absolutely not greasy.
The reason the name of this liquid contains the character "fragrant" is because it emits a distinctive, long-lasting fragrance that has a slightly stimulating allure.
This is because the lower half of the Mermaid's body, the fish tail, is covered with many scales. Without the fragrant liquid, friction between the two tails can easily damage the scales, and might even cause some scales to fall off.
Although Miss Jana underwent a magical life transformation through a secret technique, turning her fish tail into human legs and feet,
the characteristic of "skin secreting fragrant liquid" still remains.
Yang Fan gently stroked Miss Jana's back, which was as smooth as the finest silk, feeling almost reluctant to let go.
