After Lin Fan parted ways with Director Zheng, he was thinking about Wei Yue'er and was just about to call her when her phone call came through.
"Lin Fan, we've arrived at the Haojiang Hotel. We're waiting for you in the lobby. When will you be back?" Wei Yue'er asked.
Lin Fan replied, "I'll be back right away."
Lin Fan then drove back to the Haojiang Grand Hotel, where Wei Yue'er was sitting in the lobby with a father and daughter.
The father and daughter were clearly entering such a high-end venue for the first time, and they appeared somewhat uneasy and nervous.
"Miss Wei, does Mr. Lin stay here?" the middle-aged man cautiously asked.
Wei Yue'er reassured him, "Mr. Lin is just temporarily here in Hang City for some business and staying at this hotel. Since it's not certain when he'll return to Yun City, he asked me to bring you over. Don't worry, he'll be back soon."
