Cinderella picked up the Event Card she revealed, it was the familiar Calm Time, which made her sigh in relief. If she had carelessly drawn a Malicious Event, causing a disaster, she'd inevitably feel a sense of guilt.
She then looked at Ewen, and Cinderella noticed something was off with Ewen's expression.
"Ew...Ewen?"
Ewen's face was somewhat pale, his fingers trembling as he flipped over the card, simultaneously, Bai Ou's taunting, sharp voice rang out.
"Disaster Card · The Flood is Coming!"
Before the voice had even faded, the train began to shake violently, and dust obscured their vision, but this did not stop Bologue from assessing their current situation through the miniatures on the board.
A fork appeared on the tracks ahead, the original route was altered, and the Dawn rushed towards the wrong path. Continuing along the wrong path, Bologue saw the tracks stretch all the way to the coastline, eventually submerging into the raging seawater.
