Am I dead, or am I alive again?
Who am I, and who is me?
Yan Xiaobei stared at the tips of his ten fingers. Am I really me? Did I really die? Why is there a distortion in my memory? Could my twenty-plus years of memories be false? Is it that I'm not actually me?
Yan Xiaobei couldn't understand, couldn't accept it. It felt like something was suffocating him in his chest, making it difficult even to breathe.
Aaaaaaaahhhh...
He wanted to roar like that, but when he opened his mouth, all that came out were barely audible hissing sounds. He couldn't speak.
Lisa didn't seem to notice Yan Xiaobei's current state. Or perhaps she had noticed but didn't care, and continued, "After your resurrection, Queen Bee immediately informed the relevant departments, and we've been monitoring you the entire time."
Yan Xiaobei suddenly lifted his head, hoarsely saying, "Monitoring me, you're monitoring me?"
