"Ding, ding, ding..." In Moses Village, the sound of iron striking came from the blacksmith's shop.
Luo Chao walked into the shop and saw a burly Russian man, about two meters tall, with a bear-like back, striking iron.
"Excuse me, are you Mr. Ivan?" Luo Chao asked.
Ivan turned around and saw an unfamiliar Asian man. He asked warily, "Who are you? What do you want with me?"
Finding it amusing, Luo Chao replied, "I want to ask you to make a machete. Do you have time?"
"I have time. For locals, it's twenty US dollars to make a machete. For foreigners... two hundred US dollars. Do you want it or not? If not, forget it," Ivan answered.
"Yes, yes, yes, and could you please make 36 daggers for me as well? I'll pay 200 US dollars each for those too," Luo Chao said with a smile.
Ivan noticed that this Asian lad was indeed generous, so he continued, "That'll be a total of 7,400 US dollars. Cash only, no checks. Pay first, then I'll do it."
