The sheriff didn't know that within the few hours he was entangled with Joshua Hughes, so much had happened.
He just watched as Joshua Hughes meticulously penned his surname on the confession statement, and with each stroke, it seemed as though he could already see that five million US Dollars flying into his pocket.
