Sebastian thrust his wand forward, and the Seraphim Shield immediately pushed against Carol with tremendous force. Though Carol continuously increased her power output, she could not withstand the Seraphim Shield's pressure. She was pinned directly to the floating island below, pressed down tightly, her body gradually sinking into the cracked ground. No matter how Carol resisted or how she mobilized her strength, she was powerless against it.
Carol knew that if she continued like this, she would be defeated by Sebastian again, just like the previous two times.

A massive amount of photon energy expanded relentlessly outward like wildfire. Sebastian watched the photon energy surge toward him rapidly. Just as he was about to unleash the power of Hellfire or Gravitation to counter it, he felt a sudden throbbing in his heart, as if guided by some mysterious presence. He waved his wand and unleashed a different spell!
Expecto Patronum!
A white mist of light gushed out from his wand, first transforming into a raven made of light. Then, the raven patronus rapidly transformed into its second form, a magnificent silver-white bird resembling a phoenix. Emitting a holy white light, it plunged headfirst into the vast expanse of photon energy released by Carol.
The surging photon energy, as Sebastian's patronus entered it, gradually transformed into a swirling vortex of photon energy, spinning in midair and converging toward its center where the patronus flew.
Carol could clearly feel the photon energy within her body being continuously drained away, threatening to slip completely out of her control.
This sudden change startled Carol greatly, but she finally regained some of her composure. She looked down and watched Tony, Steve, and the others beginning to plummet toward the ground far below, wanting desperately to rescue them. However, at that moment, glowing portals appeared beneath all the flightless people, sending them directly and safely into the wilderness below, leaving only a vast crater where the town had been.
Coincidentally, there happened to be an underground water source in the huge crater left behind when Sebastian had lifted this abandoned town into the air. A large amount of water quickly filled the huge pit, creating a massive lake in this barren wilderness. It could be seen that as long as enough time passed, this place would soon become an oasis.
At the same time, Raina looked at the Avengers and the Illuminati members who were sent safely to the ground by the portals and cursed angrily, because Sebastian still had no intention of sending her back to the ground with them.
