David looked at Stephen face and was also astonished because Stephen said that he was his cardiac patient but was not diagnosed with any disease any by how he know him,
Stephen never helped anyone personally. He recommended himself to other doctor but personally coming with any patients was out of character for Stephen and by reading his facial expressions, it can clearly show that Stephen likes her and doesn't treat her like a friend. He said that Jayeon is a friend but clearly, he wants to be more than a friend.
While sitting there, David sips his coffee with his glare towards Stephen.
He starts to text somebody. After somefew seconds, a buzz was felt from Stephen's pant pocket. It was his phone vibrating from a message. He checks the message and sees that it was from David who was texting him sitting beside him. David signed him through his facial expression to check the message.

David – Why are you so happy? I'm helping your friend not you...
Stephen – I'm happy? When did I said that?
David – Your curved lips, my friend. Isn't that your smile?

Stephen usually curved his lips when he is happy or wants to smile but controls it and also few people knew about this and from this few people, David is one of them. So when David saw his curved lips. He instantly knew that he is smiling.
When Stephen saw the message, he himself was shocked but he couldn't directly see himself, neither open his phone camera to check his face so he just turned off his phone and saw his face on the surface of his phone. As David said he also can see that he has curved lips which questioned his own self that why was he smiling. He instantly normalized his lips and on his phone to reply the message.

Stephen – No, I'm not smiling. It just that she struggled a lot and I can feel it so its good that she'll get all her answers.
David – Feel it. Why will you feel her? I know that you don't go personally to anyone but why her? Aren't you feeling her? Did you develop feelings for her?

Stephen thought, 'Feeling! This can't be... there is no chance. Isn't it?' He doubted himself.

Stephen – You are thinking so much. It's nothing like that. We are just friends and nothing more than that...
David – I hope that it is only friends because Jayeon doesn't think of you and she is more deeply connected to her forgotten memories I guess her memories are romance related...
Stephen – Is it?

David nodded his head as a gesture of yes.
Jayeon breaks the silence and asked David to take her for the further procedure in his clinic. Three of them came out of the café and David invited her to his car so that Stephen can go back to his work, but Stephen cuts David's words and said he took a leave and calls Jayeon to seat in his car. Since last incident, Jayeon was a little scared so she believed Stephen more than any other stranger even if it was Stephen's friend. So, Jayeon said she will go by Stephen's car.
Stephen asked Jayeon to wait outside while he brings his car. She nodded and waited obediently. David gave a polite smile at her and followed Stephen to the parking lot so that even he could bring his own car. While Going, Jayeon noticed that both friends were talking and mumbling while walking to the parking lot. She didn't gave much importance to it and just waited for them to arrive.
Stephen while walking said to David, "See, she is coming with me in my car."
David replied while pausing his walk, "You dummy! I did it for you so that you could stop liking her more. You fool... you know that you like her but you don't accept it. But at least know this much that the memories she is searching for is somehow romantically related and do you think that you can take place in your heart. So I'm avoiding you but you are digging your own hole... good... continue doing it..."
When David pause his walk even Stephen stopped his walking and Stephen answered back while looking at the ground. "Even I don't know whether I like her or not but it is a first time of me doing something for someone and she is somehow upset as well as happy for the results...and...I want to know how this will end but I'm also scared that she will leave me but I don't think I can be selfish for myself also. So I'll support her to find the truth with your help and if she finds her answers then good for her but she doesn't I'll think it for my chance and I'll try my best..."
David couldn't control himself, patted his shoulder and smiled back at him, "You really did grew up. Before you rejected others with a cold face but know see yourself looking like a flower from the spring season."
Stephen smiled and said, "Maybe we just need the right person to enter in our life for the change. But for now let's take out our car, she is waiting for us."
Both of them went back with their car and Jayeon sits on Stephen's car. When she opens the car door she gave a bright smile to him as a gesture of Thank you and, Stephen noticed that maybe he likes her. Then he starts the car after she adjusts herself seat and soon after some minutes, they reached to his clinic.
