Isabella looked at Cora, took a deep breath, and asked calmly, "Cora, you knew everything Peter Barnes arranged, didn't you? Are you his accomplice?"
"I'm not!"
Cora shouted, tears pouring out like a broken dam, "You know everything, don't you? You knew it was a trap today, yet you came, pretending to know nothing, waiting for me to fall into the pit!"
"So, you're blaming me for today's events?"
Isabella looked at her coldly, "How many chances did I give you? I kept refusing you, wouldn't come to the dinner, and you?
