Zoe Lewis bit her lip and said nothing, looking extremely terrified.
But in her heart, she was disdainful of Cherry Lewis's actions. Did she really think Zoe was a three-year-old child who would break down because Cherry brought someone Zoe had a crush on during her student days? Did she think Zoe would be tormented and agonized inside?

Lucas Patel glanced at Cherry Lewis, not understanding what she was up to. Wasn't it already common knowledge that Zoe Lewis liked him?
Why else would Zoe have gone through so much trouble to help him get out of a bind back then?
Lucas Patel stood up: "Cherry Lewis, it seems you're not planning to say anything useful today. I have things to do, I'm leaving first."
His tone turned cold, and he walked out of the Lewis Family villa, got in his car, and left.
