Zoe Lewis took off the bracelet, handed it to Zoe Lewis, hung her head, and went downstairs to begin washing clothes in the bathroom.
Old Madam Lewis was sleeping but was awakened by Cherry Lewis's screams and curses from the bedroom: "Cherry, what's wrong? Who upset you?"
