Isabella Weaver ignored Peter Barnes for more than half an hour, and only when the meal was about to end did she raise her glass of water: "Boss Barnes, I toast to you with tea instead of wine. I hope you can take good care of Cora in the future. She's a good girl."
"Absolutely!"
Peter Barnes raised his glass and clinked it with hers.
So beautiful!
The creator was so partial to her; those hands were simply flawless!
"Peter?"
Cora Ginger noticed that Peter Barnes wasn't speaking and nudged his arm: "What's wrong? Isabella is toasting you!"
Peter Barnes snapped out of it, looking at Isabella Weaver with an even deeper gaze, and even spoke in a tone so gentle as if afraid to scare her: "Leave Cora to me, you can be at ease. Initially, it was to cooperate with Natalie Niles' act, but I genuinely like Cora. Who wouldn't love such an optimistic, cheerful, diligent, and pure girl?"
He spoke so eloquently!
