Natalie Niles swallowed the last bite of the meat pastry, wiped the corner of her lips, and stood up.
The courtyard was densely packed with people, and she spoke icily, "Where's Connor? With so many of you pouring in, he can't possibly be unaware."
"He's so strong, of course, he was already lured away. To catch you, we spent the whole night setting this up; otherwise, you should have been dead last night!"
"Who leaked the information?"
"That I can't tell you. Blame yourself for making too many enemies; too many people can't wait for you to die, hahaha!"
The man sneered. Although he was laughing, the seriousness in his eyes never faded.
