He lowered his voice: "Don't lie to me either."
"Oh."
Natalie Niles replied, her tone rather nonchalant.
Connor sighed: "It's pointless to tell you, you'll still lie to me, so it's better to break up. Once you're well, leave my house, and it would be best if you leave A City, so I won't see you again."
Natalie hurriedly said: "I won't lie to you anymore!"
She was a bit flustered; Connor's attitude was completely different from before!
She sensed he had truly decided to give up on her!
Connor picked her up, carried her to the living room, and placed her on the sofa: "Sit still, I'll handle the kitchen."
His expression wasn't cold; he still carried a gentle and soft demeanor, as if nothing had happened, yet Natalie could feel his detachment.
As Connor entered the kitchen, she followed him, hugged him from behind, and pressed her face to his back, remaining silent for a long time.
"Put on your shoes."

"The tiles are cold."
