Connor pursed his lips and did not answer, taking a towel to wipe her sweat.
She was wearing his T-shirt and trousers, the top was loose and she had tied a knot in it, the trousers were too long and she had rolled up the cuffs, only her shoes were her own, those worn-out military boots.
Connor took off her shoes, and immediately saw the marks on her ankle. Rolling up the trousers for a better look, he couldn't help but gasp!
Her calves were covered in deep scratches, with obvious blood and bruises, it was a shocking sight.
