Serena Sterling picked up the clothes scattered all over the floor, putting them on piece by piece, and walked out of the hotel room.
What Serena Sterling didn't expect was to run into Stephen Foster in the corridor on her way out.
But running into him was just as well; she happened to have something to explain to Stephen Foster.
Serena Sterling walked calmly towards Stephen Foster.
Upon seeing Serena Sterling, Stephen Foster greeted her politely, "Miss Sterling."

Serena Sterling left, departing from the place where Malcom Moore was.
In the hotel room, Malcom Moore slept in until late in the morning, only waking from his dreams then.
Upon waking, Malcom Moore instinctively reached out to the side, finding it cold and empty.
