Qin Mobai returned to his room in the Qin Family home after midnight. After taking a shower, he got into bed, feeling a bit sleepless without Lou Xi by his side.
Holding his phone, he wondered if Lou Xi was asleep and decided to send her a WeChat message.
The girl quickly replied, apparently not asleep either, so Qin Mobai decided to call her instead.
"Why aren't you asleep yet?" Qin Mobai settled into a comfortable position, imagining the girl right next to him.
Lou Xi rustled around for a moment before quieting down, "I was just playing with Grandma and the others. We just finished. Grandma is really like a big child, so playful."
"Uh-huh." Qin Mobai, slightly tipsy,
made Lou Xi's face flush at his words,
only to be slightly surprised as Qin Mobai started lecturing her. But now, he was asking what she was thinking!
"I'm thinking about you!"
