So, she finished breakfast in just over ten minutes. After breakfast, Jiang Xue took the bowls and chopsticks to the kitchen and washed them clean.
Just then, Niu returned from grocery shopping. Seeing Jiang Xue washing dishes, she immediately said, "Madam, please leave it. I'll wash them."
"Just a few bowls, it's no problem." Jiang Xue smiled, washed the bowls, and put them in the cupboard.
After washing the bowls, Jiang Xue left the kitchen and went to the living room to play with her son. Mu Qiancheng watched the mother and son playing together and smiled as he asked, "Xue'er, you don't have work today, right? Do you want to take our son out for a bit?"
"It's already quite late; if we go out now, it'll be lunchtime before we even arrive. Let's wait until the afternoon after lunch, then we can play a bit longer."
"Alright, let's do that." Mu Qiancheng said with a smile. He had a few more days off and wanted to spend more time with his wife and child.
