So Shuangshuang couldn't be bothered to argue with Mrs. Chen anymore. She turned around, ready to leave, when a raspy voice suddenly echoed, "Since you firmly believe your son is a good person, then come and see the causes and effects together!"
The voice was as raspy as stones grinding against sandpaper, ringing out of nowhere in the room, coming from all directions, so elusive it was impossible to pinpoint its exact location! The voice scared Mr. and Mrs. Chen so much that they fell to the ground, their cries and pleas stopping instantly!
Shuangshuang turned her head and saw a ghostly old lady with a face full of wrinkles, holding the hand of a young male ghost, floating in the air. Seeing Shuangshuang look their way, the two ghosts bowed to her.
