"I heard you..." Sophie Smith lowered her head and softly replied to him.
Asher Land nodded with satisfaction.
For some reason, he seemed unable to distance himself from her. Even after their last argument, when he was hospitalized due to health reasons, and he had asked her to leave, he soon found himself drawn to her again.
Was he cursed? Or was he just insulting himself?
Sophie noticed something was off in Asher Land's expression, unsure of what he was thinking at the moment.
Asher Land took a deep breath from within. Today, he's really put her through a lot.
"Irene Morton's situation, I really don't know how to handle it now." He suddenly spoke, mentioning Irene Morton's name, which momentarily bewildered Sophie.
He couldn't use force with Irene Morton, but even if he did, she definitely wouldn't leave. She was just that stubbornly obsessive.
What could he do? Kill her?
