Wei Kaiyun closed his eyes, thinking about how he could extricate himself from this predicament. He really didn't want to get involved again, but otherwise, he wouldn't be able to clear his name and stand beside their mother and son openly.
After going around in circles, he still had to return to the old path. Though he was unwilling, for his true love in his heart, he had to continue.
The son beside him suddenly moved, and both their gazes shifted over.
They saw his little mouth moving, utterly endearing his parents.
"Tomorrow, the three of us should go take a picture. I originally wanted to wait until the child's first birthday, but now that you're back, let's do it earlier."
Wei Kaiyun nodded with a smile. He was actually quite exhausted; the three-day journey and the morning joy left him weary, but he was reluctant to close his eyes.
"You sleep, we can talk about everything once you've rested. It's okay, we're right here by your side."
