Alex would be lying if he said he wasn't curious about Himea.
From the time she came to their rescue in the Dungeon of Beginnings to now, the two of them had only interacted a handful of times.
She already seemed mysterious, and the little devil sitting on her shoulder only added to that vibe.
After the meeting ended, Professor Rowan told Himea to take Alex to the top of the magic tower so the two of them could have a private talk to discuss how her bodyguard duties would be arranged.
Truth be told, Alex had no intention of having a bodyguard. In fact, the mere thought hadn't even crossed his mind.
However, he had underestimated just how anxious Lex felt due to the appearance of the students from the Aetherion Empire.
Since the one leading them was the Crown Prince, the possibility that they had come here to find the missing prince was very high.
Lex might have left the Aetherion Empire for many years, but his prestige didn't decrease in the slightest.
