After Bella relayed the information to Belial, he blinked. He did not fully understand the finer points of White Tier, but he understood that the symbolic mechanism of the other side was important. Still, he did not really care, since if it could not be killed, then it could not be killed, and as long as he was here, it would not cause chaos.
It was only said that it could not be killed, not that it could not be locked up and drained. Beating it half-dead, crippling it, injuring it, knocking it into Dusk confusion, or forcing it to kneel did not count as killing. With the killing option removed, there were plenty of choices left.
Locking it up for research while keeping things from getting out of hand was also an option. "Trying to leave? I do not think that is necessary. Since you came, then you are not going anywhere."
Belial did not move from his spot, but the Energy Field that had long been restrained around him and had risen into something unknown suddenly began to expand rapidly. In the past, it would have taken him a long time to completely consume such a massive dark vortex, but now his efficiency was dozens of times higher.
How long would it take him to swallow a vortex even larger than before? The answer was unclear, but it would not take long. Within the expanded Energy Field, every microscopic node and every mathematical scale acted like a high-power pump.
The g-particles already spread through the domain began moving at high speed, producing energy while absorbing outside power. Countless g-particles operating together created an immense suction force. On more abstract levels like resentment and souls, it also pulled in the resentment within, clearly overpowering the other side in that regard.
In the past, Belial's Ecological Corrosion could only act on the material level or on tangible objects. Now, even unaggregated energy layers could be corroded to some extent. The being was vast, but its control was not enough to resist this absorption, creating a shocking scene like a snake swallowing an elephant, as the entire vortex was dragged toward Belial.
At the same time, the central existence felt the threat and began using its innate power, like two opposite black holes tearing at a planet between them. One acted as naturally as a brain driving its body, while the other was a merciless robber, constantly plundering. As power shifted back and forth, Belial gained the upper hand.
About one third of the radius had been devoured and torn away into his grasp. The other side began to feel strained, since it was only a broken, unhatched larva, not even fully born. Facing this, it was deeply confused.
It recognized Belial as that annoying little insect that had flown into its domain before. Back then, it had thought him troublesome and painful to deal with, hard to kill, and not worth the effort. But now, after just one battle, that insect had grown to an impossible scale, even devouring the domain it controlled.
"Ugh!" A sharp, piercing cry echoed. Having been attacked, it could not avoid striking back. In the pitch-black Void, Blink produced countless dazzling blood-red lights weaving into purple stars.
At the very center, a gigantic eye was torn open like a Rend, far larger than Jupiter, unimaginably huge. Enormous Dark Power gathered there, compressed to an unbelievable degree. Then countless stars, along with supermassive Light Cannon, surged toward the blue cosmic sky, each shot theoretically no weaker than the cannon that once blasted Belial.
But Belial was no stranger to such things. Under his control, the energy surrounding the Energy Field condensed into pure energy-guided phantom Crystal. Countless Crystal lit up like a starry sky, then were wrapped in massive gravity and smashed into the incoming purple meteor swarm.
He also raised his head slightly and drew in energy. The vast energy domain around him was pulled into a near-vacuum vortex, gathering outside his body to form a blazing sphere like a star. Then layer upon layer of supermassive ring-shaped acceleration Magic Array appeared, crackling with light, already rivaling Saturn's rings in scale as they slowly contracted.
Finally, the immense power was compressed through the rings into a single line of light. That beam shot forward at a speed beyond all limits. "Ultra-Acceleration, Spiral Gravitational Spiral Heat Ray!"
This was a new move Belial worked out out of boredom while sleeping, though in truth he had thought about it long ago. He had wanted to merge the Heat Ray and traits from various Godzilla templates into his own personal skill set, instead of digging through old settings every fight and suddenly remembering he still had some move like that. The other three were easy enough, since at the core they were all high energy Heat Ray type attacks, and he could combine their basic properties even if there were rarely any real breakthroughs.
Most of the time he simply stacked the abilities from different templates to push his energy level higher, then fired the strongest attack straight out. Planets were a bit troublesome, since everyone else was playing with Heat Ray, while this one thing insisted on accelerated Electromagnetic Cannon. But now that The End had joined in, things became different, or rather, all his previous accumulation finally achieved a true unification and elevation under the boost brought by The End.
Electromagnetism, soul, and pure energy were all integrated into a single domain, forming layers of similar rank that finally allowed them to combine. Once again, g-particles did the heavy lifting, with the first step being the expansion of the domain to form particles, then constructing ring-shaped coils purely from these infinite-energy particles. Only then did he gain the conditions needed to accelerate and constrain them.
Because these particles could produce energy endlessly like a perpetual engine, the follow-through of Heat Ray became inexhaustible. Or rather, Heat Ray itself was simply a manifestation of that infinite work property. If firing it straight from the mouth was like a gun shooting bullets, then adding a ring-shaped accelerating Magic Array was like reinforcing the barrel to increase bullet speed and spin stability.
At Belial's current level, he compressed the bullet's mass itself down to an extreme, almost to a microscopic particle scale, then put it into a Particle Acceleration device for infinite acceleration before firing it out. It combined the output of Space, dark true damage, planetary speed and penetration, and the infinite energy follow-through of The End. The shockwave from firing alone burst into brilliance like a supernova, and the violent roar of colliding energies spread outward as a blazing star ring that churned the entire energy domain into towering waves.
Compressing that star-killing radiance into such a tiny beam resulted in it slicing the incoming Light Cannon cleanly into two, as easily as a hot knife through Gold Rank oil. With unstoppable force, it pierced into the darkened cluster of stars, sweeping back and forth and cutting the overwhelming barrage into pieces with Rend. The dark vortex was split open again, nearly torn into two halves, as a seam of light burst through the darkness and the brilliant beam slashed straight through the black hole-like core.
"Uoooooooh!!!"
A vague scream echoed through the surrounding Void, as the darkness was briefly painted into a radiant universe. Guided ghost Crystal collided with dark meteors, each impact blooming like the birth of a star. Explosions followed one after another, with light and dark tearing at every inch they could reach, until the Crystal broke through the blockade and smashed down onto the vortex.
More explosions bloomed across the vortex's surface, and the already shattered Shard structure was blasted full of pits and holes like a wasp nest. The direct energy impact scattered the Dark Power, and triggered chain reactions as the resentment within was equally stirred into a violent frenzy. The egg shell that had been wrapped in darkness for countless years was abruptly split open by that cursed beam of light, the blinding radiance forcing out a howl.
"Roar!!!"
Light, no matter what properties it carried, was its greatest torment and suffering. Its essence was still embryonic and unfinished, and being touched at this stage brought pain far deeper than simple agony. That essence, which should not have been reachable, was pierced with ease, as the light was forcibly driven into its body like a wedge, making it roar in anguish.
"Stop screaming. You are done, just wait for it!"
After sweeping back and forth a few more times, Belial remembered the earlier request to leave a survivor. He did not finish it off in one blast, but after tearing apart most of its domain, he drew it closer to his own field and completely restrained it. The outer vortex domain had already been mostly shredded, first smashed by guided ghost Crystal, then swept repeatedly by Spiral Heat Ray, and it truly could not withstand Belial's absorption anymore.
Even so, while the new Spiral Heat Ray was quite powerful, he was still not very Proficient with it. It was only a test version, and if he kept firing until it blew up, the resulting fireworks would probably be quite spectacular. Judging by the power, though, this direction of exploration still seemed viable, hmm?
