Chapter 2 - Time skip and first adventure

I spent years training in this form, mimicking Saitama Wiman, aiming to boost my stats, becoming stronger and faster. I also learned how to wield a sword, which at least gave me confidence in combat. Additionally, I mastered my elemental abilities—channeling sand, lava, metal, water, ice healing, blood bending, and air. I'm working on solidifying air, creating cold attacks, and I can even fly using air bending. I can produce a sonic scream, which has proven quite useful. I also developed lightning and combustion bending, evolving my fire into a blue flame reminiscent of Azula's. My psychic powers have improved too. Combining these with my elemental skills, I believe I could easily take on a tiger-level or even a near-demon-level monster.

As for my Avatar state, I've managed to fully master it over the past eight years here in City Z.

Today, inside my apartment, a 26-year-old guy is making his breakfast, eating it, and relaxing on the couch.

"Hard to believe it's been eight years since I left. Thankfully, I've mastered the Avatar state, so I can at least protect myself. My psychic abilities have also grown a bit, but the stuff I get from the system isn't really useful."

The items I regularly see from the system are pretty useless—like the chest wraps of Esdeath. They blocked my ice abilities because of my water-building, but I had to wear them on my chest. I tried wearing them on my arms to look cool, but that didn't work. The broken sword of Tanjiro or the grass that Gojo hunts—guess everything else I've gotten is just junk.

I turn on the TV, watching a news report when I suddenly get a system notification.

"Mission: Kill the Vaccine Man. Reward: 100 points. Available for purchase in the store."

It's a point system for buying items. Over the past eight years, the system hasn't offered many missions—this is my first real one.

I quickly put on a black jacket to hide my identity, grabbed some black-and-white sweatpants, and strapped the sword I obtained onto my back using my psychokinesis. I levitated into the air, eliminating any resistance before launching myself forward. I spotted Vaccine Man near a little girl, ready to save her.

"You're a quick one. Who are you?" he asked. He was a towering, purple-skinned man with antennas on his forehead.

"Just a guy who likes playing the hero," I replied.

"A hero? You're just a fool. I pray for Earth and aim to destroy humanity because Mother Earth must be free," he spat back.

"Yeah, yeah. Let's get this over with," I said. I drew my sword, charged it with electricity using the system, and froze him in place with psychokinesis. I plunged the blade through him, then melted his remains into lava, letting the pieces fall.

I quickly took to the sky, fleeing before anyone could identify me. Before I knew it, another notification popped up.

"Congratulations! You've earned 100 points."

A new quest appeared: "Stop the giant by any means necessary. Reward: 300 points."

Seeing the higher reward, I headed toward the giant. Realizing I couldn't take him on head-to-head, I opted for a stealthier approach. Remembering the Attack on Titan attack on the Titan, I scrambled onto its head, aiming for its neck. I shattered it, causing a torrent of blood to pour out, knocking the scientist nearby unconscious.

With the scientist on my back, I returned to my apartment. Checking my points, I saw I had 400—enough to buy a few items from the store. I decided to hold off on spending for now.

Just as I was about to sit down, a notification appeared:

"You will be transported to a new world. Once there, you'll be given choices."

Before I could process it, I felt drowsy and woke up somewhere unfamiliar.

I heard a massive war in the distance and looked up to see a giant orange nine-tailed fox with red eyes.

My eyes widened in realization—I was in the Naruto universe.

The options appeared:

First, assist in sealing the demon fox into the baby, but don't save the parents—worth 100 points, with two card draws.

Second, help Kushina seal the Nine-Tails inside Naruto while ensuring her survival—gain favor with her and the village elders—worth 500 points with four card draws.

Third, do nothing and watch history unfold—zero points.

I reviewed my choices and selected the second option.

A message confirmed: "When this task is complete, you can choose to become a ninja or a rogue. Any missions completed will allow you to bring objects or people back. Becoming a ninja grants one card draw; choosing to go rogue grants three."

Focusing on the task, I activated my Avatar state, glowing with a light blue aura, and floated into the sky.

The fox was chained by Kushina Uzumaki, while Minato Namikaze prepared the sealing ritual. Unlike the original timeline, Kushina seemed weaker, and the fox was nearly breaking free before it was restrained again—this time by wood and stone, startling everyone.

They turned to see a tall man in strange hooded clothing, his piercing blue eyes looking at them. I spoke:

"What are you waiting for? Seal that beast while you still can." I knew I couldn't hold the Nine-Tails back forever, but I was willing to buy some time.

Suddenly, Minato asked, "Promise me something—protect my family." It was a heavy burden, but I nodded.

I gently placed Kushina and baby Naruto down, her watching her husband vanish. I approached her, keeping my distance to avoid distrust.

"It's okay. I'm here to heal you," I said, summoning water bending to show her my healing ability.

She kept her guard, but I slowly got closer, kneeling to heal her wounds.

"Who are you? I've never seen you in the village. Are you a rogue ninja from another land? Or some kind of Sanju?" she asked rapidly.

"My name is Jack. I don't usually hang around here, but one thing's for sure—I keep my promises. As your husband's last wish, I vow to help you and your son however I can," I replied softly, trying to relax her.

She hesitated, then said, "That would help, but after everything that's happened, people in the village will turn on my husband. They'll blame Naruto, even if he didn't do anything wrong."

"What are you willing to do? Would you consider doing something drastic to keep your son safe?" I asked, thinking I could maybe bring them into my world.

"Yes, I'd do anything to keep Naruto safe. I know this place isn't safe for him—and even after I healed her, Kushina admitted she wasn't strong enough to protect him alone."

I nodded. "I know of a place far away, one only I know about, where no one can find you. If you're interested, I can take you there."

She looked hopeful. "If that place really exists, I'd go."

"I have such a place, but your village ninjas will be here soon. We need a distraction if you want to come with me." I offered my hand. "First, let's make it look like we both died—I'll create a blood clone."she said

She made two blood clones from her blood, and one of them became Naruto, stabbing himself to fake Naruto's death. The other did the same.

"There. That should make them believe we're dead. Now, let's get to my house, where I keep all the supplies. I'll teach Naruto everything he needs to defend himself," she said.

"That sounds like a good plan. But I sense your friends are coming—they'll be here soon." I helped her to her feet. We vanished into the ground, buried the bodies, and escaped.

Soon, we arrived at the Uzumaki estate.

"We're here. What do we need?" she asked.

"There are jutsu scrolls, sealing techniques, and ninjutsu in the study," she said. We gathered everything, sealing it into a space pouch. She strapped the scrolls to her back, carrying Naruto, while I packed up all their belongings.

She changed into her ninja armor, ready to leave in secret. We snuck out of the village unnoticed, heading to a safe distance.

Once in a clearing, she looked at me and asked, "You haven't answered my earlier questions."

"If you're risking so much for a stranger, you might as well know the full story about me," I replied, explaining I'm from another world, coming here on a mission to help her and save Naruto from the inevitable fate of their village.

She listened silently, then asked, "Are you some kind of giant monster that appears now and then? It's not the safest place, but it's safer than here—where if you have a beast inside you, they treat you like a weapon. In my world, there are no tailed beasts—just monsters that show up now and then, but they're manageable. If you want to go back right now, I wouldn't blame you."

I smiled softly. "I believe you," she said.

"Honestly, I thought it would take more to convince you," I admitted, confused.

"Your expressions and the look in your eyes tell me you're honest. But how do we get to this other world?" she asked.

Just then, a system ding interrupted. It congratulated me for helping Kushina and Naruto, awarding points and draws, then revealed I was now considered a rogue ninja in the Naruto world, spotted by the Hokage. It warned me to proceed with caution.

I turned back to Kushina. "We can go now. Just hold my hand, and I'll take us to my world." I reached out, and she took my hand. Suddenly, I activated the system again, and in a flash, we were back in my apartment.

She looked around, surprised. "Where are we?"

"This is my home. Two bedrooms—one for me, and the other is empty. You can put Naruto there, and I'll sleep on the couch," I said, not wanting to share a room just yet.

"You don't have to be so formal. You can sleep with me. It's no big deal," she said, tilting her head.

I just nodded. "Alright, let's unpack Naruto first." I went to the side room to set things up. Once everything was in place, we moved to my room. She removed the large seal from her back and placed it on the ground.

"You look tired. Why don't you get some rest?" I suggested, knowing she must be exhausted after everything.

Before I finished, she was already asleep on the bed, covers pulled over her. I decided to check my card drawers, preparing for whatever lay ahead.
