At the home of the one strength clan,
"You piece of trash!" An old burly ma with white hair and white beard yelled at Tai Long.
"How can you embarrass our clan like this?!"
"Grandpa, I didn't mean t-" Tai Long tried to explain himself.
"Shut your mouth! Tomorrow, I will follow you to the academy. And you will tell me who it was that beat you up!" The old man walked away.
"Grandpa! Wait!" But the old ma had walked off already. It was gonna be embarrassing that he lost, it would look like he brought someone stronger because he was weaker that someone.
The next day,
Liu Yan and Ying Xuan walked through th corridors of Shrek Academy. Their juniors greeted them.
Suddenly, a big shockwave is felt in the campus grounds.
Liu Yan immediately lanched himself towards the front, where the shockwave originated from.
Thump
Liu Yan landed in the courtyard.
"What is going on here?" He looked ahead and saw Tang San near the fountain ofthe courtyard.
A burly muscular old man stood there with his arms crossed. "Who are you supposed to be?"
"Senior Tai Tan, what brings you to this academy?" Liu Yan recognised the old man immediately and greeted him.
"Oh? So you know me. Well, this brat over here has beaten up my grandson. I came here to simply to take revenge for the humiliation." Tai Tan said while eyeing Tang San.
"Senior Tai Tan, that is not possible. Tang San, my classmate is only a soul elder. Compared to you, a Soul Douluo, no one would stand a chance."
Tai Tan merely looked at Tang San still, he sighed. This was indeed unreasonable. But he still had to do something for the humiliation that his grandson had experienced.
"How do you suggest we deal with the matter then?"
"How about this, let Tang San prove himself. If he can break through your defense, then you will drop the matter. But if he is unable to do so, then he will kneel on both legs and apologise." Liu Yan suggested.
Tang San immediately looked at him shocked.
Liu Yan glanced at him and nodded…
"Wait… does Liu Yan know about it?"
"Heh, alright. We'll do just that."
Tai Tan stood his ground and started to use soul power, generating a barrier.
"Xiao San, use it discreetly. Tai Tan might recognise it and leave."
Tang San watched Liu Yan and nodded. "How much does he know…" Tang San thought internally.
The moment Tang San could start, he didn't waste any time. He used his external spirit bone, hidden weapons, everything.
Nothing could break through the barrier.
Tang San pushed against the barrier in a futile attempt, the eight spider lances stabbing repeatedly.
"Heh, if you can't break through. Then this girl will marry my grandson." Tai Tan suddenly added while pointing at Xiao Wu.
Tang San's eyes widened. No! He will not let this happen!
"I will not let you touch Xiao Wu!!" Tang San pulled out his Haot Tian Hammer, smashing it into the soul barrier generated by the old man.
Plang
The soul wall was destroyed, but Tang San, exhausting his soul power had fallen over.
"Brother San!" Xiao Wu ran and caught him before he fell completely.
"H-Hao Tian Hammer?!" The old ma watched the hammer stuck in the ground with great excitement and shock.
Silence
A moment of silence…
Suddenly a dark shadow covered Tang San. He looked up slowly.
He saw a blackish grey long hair man with expensive clothing and armour appear from a portal.
"You're blocking my way, kid" the man said.
Tang San jumped back with Xiao Wu. His Hao Tian Hammer had disappeared.
"Tai Tan… I finally found you!" The man declared, Tai Tan could only stare in shock.
"Y-You!"
"My master has some things to discuss with you!" The man said in an almost sinister way. Before dragging a bony tail lunged out, wrapped itself around Tai Tan's wrist. And dragged him into the portal.
"Titled Douluo…" Tang San muttered in shock.
Liu Yan stood there. "Bone dragon douluo…. That means Xiao San is going to meet the sect leader of seven treasure glazed pagoda sect soon."
Liu Yan returned to his dorm and dressed up in a casual outfit.
He stepped out and spotted Ying Xuan.
"Ying Ying! I'll be heading out for a bit. Don't get in too much trouble." He walked past, kissing her cheek before leaving.
Smooch
Ying Xuan watched him leave, "aren't you the one who usually gets in trouble." She couldn't help but laugh.
At the auction house,
"Greetings, humble guest. How may I help you?" The clerk greeted with a bow.
"I would like to join the maim auction event today." Liu Yan just said.
"That will be either 20 thousand gold soul coins or you can auction an item of your own."
"I would like to auction a piece."
"Then please, follow me to the appraiser's office."
The corridors were luxurious, items to be auctioned were displayed beautifully in glass cases. There were even certain special herbs.
"If anyone were to rob this place successfully, they'd be rich." Liu Yan observed the treasures being sold here.
In the appraiser's office,
"So, what is it that you will be auctioning?" He said with interest, Liu Yan wasn't holding anything or looked like someone that would be able to create items worthy of auctioning.
"I will be auctioning a crystal golem." Liu Yan said as he charged his soul power. Creating a golem with proper structure at the size of a slightly taller human with a muscular build and moving joints and parts.
He made sure it was dense, so that it would not break easily.
"How perculiar." The appraiser stood up and looked at every detail.
"This golem can be turned on by injecting soul power into it." Liu Yan held the golem's shoulder and injected some soul power.
It turned on and with Liu Yan's instructions, picked up the expensive couch, and threw it. But with it's other hand, the joints loosened and extended allowing it to catcht the couch and place it back down gently.
It shut off soon after.
"Very interesting indeed. This is very much so worthy of auctioning."
The appraiser smiled as he continued to observe the golem, as Liu Yan is led away by the clerk.
