Silas laughed as he took in Arthur's miserable state, the sound echoing coldly through the dim prison corridor.
"It's been a long time since I've had the chance to personally take care of you," he said with clear amusement. "Especially after you dared to claim that Ivy was your fiancée."
His smile deepened, turning sharp and cruel. "This time, I'll make sure you understand reality properly."
Arthur shook his head again and again, panic flooding his eyes, his throat too tight to form coherent words.
But it was already too late. Silas didn't pause. His fists and kicks landed relentlessly, each blow accompanied by the dull sound of flesh meeting bone.
The air filled with the metallic stench of blood and the hoarse cries Arthur could no longer suppress.
