The entity known as a Stellaron is extremely aggressive; its appearance signifies calamity. Moreover, it customizes the disaster based on the conditions of the civilization it inhabits.
On Jarilo-VI, the disaster triggered by the Stellaron was the Eternal Freeze. On the Luofu, the disaster it triggered was the induction of the Mara-struck state.
The Divination Commission was one of the many locations on the Xianzhou where the Mara disaster erupted.
As an interstellar civilization, the Luofu is unlike Belobog; it is not helpless against the disaster. Although they cannot completely eliminate the Mara calamity, they can basically control the situation. However, it is impossible to cover every aspect perfectly.
The Mara-struck individual the Express crew encountered was a straggler. After being subjected to 'bondage play' by Caelus, Stelle pierced its elixir crucible with her flaming lance, disposing of it without much effort.
Led by Qingque, the group walked through a smart gate that looked ancient and rustic but was actually a product of Xianzhou technology.
"Yo, rare guests."
A man in blue robes stopped his work to greet them as he saw the group approaching.
"?"
The members of the Express crew looked at each other in dismay.
"Uh, me? Have we met before?"
March 7th pointed at herself, her face full of confusion.
"No, I was talking to Qingque here. It's working hours right now, yet I actually see you."
The blue-robed man shook his head, looking at the petite Qingque leading the way at the front.
"Hey~ Mingyue, how can you slander someone's innocence out of thin air? I am working seriously. By the order of the Master Diviner, I am guiding the guests."
Qingque argued with great affectation, but the man she called Mingyue obviously didn't fully trust the Sect Leader of the Divination Commission's Leisure Gate.
"Yo, rare guests."
Mingyue looked up and swept his gaze over the Express crew, speaking enthusiastically.
"Surely you're talking about us this time, right?"
Little March stood with her hands on her hips.
"That's right. I didn't expect to see you all at the Divination Commission."
Mingyue's words stunned the Express crew again. Their gazes followed Mingyue's line of sight to Caelus and Stelle.
"Eh? Mingyue, do you actually know Old Caelus and Stelle?"
Qingque raised her small head in surprise.
"Hah, Qingque, are you underestimating me, or are you underestimating Brother Caelus? I am the famous 'Miss Jingliu's Dog'! Who in the entire Commission hasn't seen the video?"
Mingyue nodded seriously, his face full of adoration. "How powerful! To be able to ignore the strange gazes of others in broad daylight and express that pure, passionate emotion in one's heart!"
"Brother Caelus, um, can you give me an autograph?"
Mingyue fished out a pen and paper from his clothes and handed them to Caelus.
"So it's a fan! An autograph? No problem, no problem."
Caelus accepted the pen and paper quite generously and began to scribble wildly—referring to the calligraphy style.
Welt couldn't help but twitch the corner of his mouth. He had also seen that trending video of Caelus that climbed to number one on the rankings. As for the content... he could only say it was very 'Caelus'.
To think he could get fans like this?
"No, bro, how can he have fans like this?"
Stelle frowned slightly, pouting in dissatisfaction. If Caelus-cub had fans, she wanted them too.
Wait!
She remembered that the video where a Masked Fool impersonated her and agreed to Caelus-cub's proposal had also made it onto the rankings.
"What about me? What about me? Do you know me?"
Pointing at herself, Stelle asked with an expectant expression.
"You..."
Mingyue looked at Stelle, his brows gradually knitting together. "Hiss~ Looking at you like this, you do look a bit familiar. Seems like I've seen you somewhere..."
"Mhm, mhm! Think carefully!"
Stelle's eyes lit up, and she nodded repeatedly.
Mingyue frowned, scrutinizing Stelle's face, thinking and recalling with full concentration.
"Oh! I remember now!"
Suddenly, his pupils contracted. Mingyue subconsciously jerked his head back and raised a finger to point at Stelle.
"You are! You are... that psycho gray-hair who dismantled the wheels of my dad's pancake stall the other day!"
Stelle's eager expression instantly went cold. Meeting Mingyue's gaze, which was gradually turning sharp, she turned on her heel and ran, leaving a trail of dust.
"I am not, I did not, you got the wrong person!"
Listening to Stelle's shouts, Welt helplessly held his forehead, while Qingque hurriedly called out:
"Hey, Stelle, don't run! You're running in the wrong direction!"
This small interlude failed to stop the group's advance.
Mainly because Mingyue couldn't leave his post without permission; otherwise, he definitely would have chased after Stelle to properly hash out why she dismantled his dad's wheels.
Enduring the various gazes of her companions, the Stellaron spirit scratched her head, looking somewhat shy with social anxiety.
Thump!
Glancing at Caelus-cub, who was laughing at the spectacle, Stelle unceremoniously raised her arm and delivered an elbow strike.
"What did you hit me for?"
"You have no right to laugh."
"Hey, I'll be damned..."
Caelus couldn't tolerate this. He launched a pounce-and-gnaw attack on the gray-haired raccoon—gnawing on her cheek.
Stelle was fearless. Caelus-cub wouldn't dare use force anyway, or his own face would hurt too.
"Qingque, is that thing up ahead the Matrix of Prescience you mentioned?"
Stelle pressed the side of her small head against Caelus's chest, rubbing against it to wipe dry the saliva remaining on her cheek. She grabbed Caelus's white T-shirt to wipe it further, then pointed to the massive platform standing proudly in the center.
"Mhm."
Qingque watched with great interest as the stars of the show gnawed on and pranked each other.
Old Caelus and Stelle were essentially the same person, yet they weren't clones in the ordinary sense. Qingque, despite having read many books, had never heard of such a situation.
With her insight, she easily saw through their mode of interaction and felt slightly envious of having another self in the world.
She also wanted three of herself to play Celestial Jade with her.
"That is the large-scale Jade Abacus terminal that my Divination Commission takes pride in—the Great Evolution Matrix of Prescience. The Great Evolution follows the Way of Myriad Changes. It uses a method of uncountable enumeration to calculate all the elusive aspects within the destiny of things. Once the scale is expanded to the eternal past and the sea of stars, there are no variables left in the world."
"Therefore, whether it is the evolution of heavenly principles or the metabolic changes of human generations, as long as there is sufficient information, it can answer any question."
"Moreover, the talismans and principles within it asked of the Wisdomwalker, Nous. Its profundity is something that perhaps only the Master Diviner in the entire Divination Commission can claim to know like the back of her hand."
"Technology personally guided by Nous..."
Old Yang, who was listening intently to Qingque's introduction, looked up in surprise.
"That really is amazing. I haven't even seen anything related to Nous in Madam Herta's space station," March 7th muttered.
"Emmm... Ah Xing."
Cupping his chin in thought for two seconds, Caelus hooked his arm around Stelle's shoulder. "I feel that with your wit, it is very likely you will be glimpsed by Nous in the future."
Caelus estimated that he would walk the Path of Elation until the end, but Stelle would unlock quite a few Paths. Although, he couldn't imagine why Nous would look at this abstract creature.
Maybe since other Aeons had looked, Nous would join the fun of appraising the popular hot creature among Aeons and take a look too.
"I think so too. Mhm, this Lord is truly amazing."
Stelle was quite proud, crossing her arms over her chest.
"No, that kind of thing is absolutely impossible," March 7th retorted.
She felt that if Stelle could receive Nous's gaze, then she could receive the gaze of Erudition too.
Stelle was just about to argue with Ah Qi—she was such a genius, how was it impossible for her to receive Nous's gaze?
But she was swept by Caelus.
"Ah Qi doesn't believe it, but I do. what do you think of the lewd art we got out of the Simulated Universe last time?"
Although she didn't immediately understand the causal relationship between these two things, Stelle still gave a thumbs up and evaluated: "Excellent!"
"Since the Simulated Universe can draw such exquisite and good-looking erotic pictures, as an Aeon who ascended from a machine, Nous must be even stronger! When you are looked at by Him, ask Him if He can help draw some lewd art."
"Great idea!"
This time, not only Welt but even Qingque was stunned. Asking the Lord of Universal Wisdom to help draw erotic art—is this something a human could come up with?
"Restricted area ahead. Please show relevant identification."
The Great Evolution Matrix of Prescience was the most important array facility of the Divination Commission, so naturally, it was heavily guarded. Qingque took out the identification she had prepared long ago for the Cloud Knights guarding the gate to check, and only then were they allowed to enter.
On a high platform near the Matrix of Prescience, everyone saw Fu Xuan and Jing Yuan, who was standing there via holographic projection.
Jing Yuan had originally intended to personally attend the interrogation, but the intelligence Caelus gave him regarding the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus was truly a bit exaggerated.
Jing Yuan needed to sit at the center to command the Cloud Knights to surround the various strongholds of the Disciples of Sanctus Medicus. He had to wait for the right moment to eliminate those cancers one by one, so he had no time to be there in person.
Jing Yuan, who was just drawing a 'General's big pancake'—making empty promises—and feeding chicken soup to Fu Xuan, stopped talking when he saw everyone arrive.
"Master Diviner, I have brought the guests according to your orders, so I will return to my post first..."
After whispering a few words to Caelus about finding him later when they had time, Qingque led the people to Fu Xuan and immediately wanted to activate the 'Art of Run' to slip away.
"Wait."
The moment she was stopped by Fu Xuan, Qingque's small face instantly collapsed.
It's over. Most likely, she was going to be assigned work again.
The young girl turned around reluctantly to look at Fu Xuan, who was the same height as her, awaiting her sentence.
Fu Xuan huffed softly. She knew exactly what Qingque was thinking—didn't she just want to run off to the empty library to slack off?
"This Seat has an important matter to entrust to you," Fu Xuan said indifferently.
"Ah..."
Realizing she couldn't escape at all, Qingque let out a sigh of resignation. When Fu Xuan's eyes looked over, she immediately tidied up her expression, hiding her laziness.
"Master Diviner, what else is there?"
"The three Vice Diviners are already exhausted from coordinating with This Seat to repair the Great Matrix of Prescience. The others have consumed a lot of energy to restore the calculation data of the matrix base. Coupled with the fact that many members cannot come, you go and adjust the three matrix bases."
"Ah? Me? Adjust the matrix bases?"
Qingque pointed at herself in disbelief, looking like Benbo'erba—the little demon who was told by the Nine-Headed Worm to go and eliminate Tang Monk and his disciples.
Although for her, the difficulty wasn't as great as a little demon taking out Tang Monk's team, this was like a manager telling a fresh graduate who just started working to go and modify the company's most critical database.
"Go for it, Qingque! This is your chance to show your face!" Stelle cheered for Qingque.
"Strive to satisfy the leader!" March 7th chimed in.
"Promotion and a raise are right before your eyes!" Silver Wing clenched her fist in encouragement.
"You guys, don't be such jerks."
Qingque's small face turned slightly red. She dragged her feet back to Caelus's side, stood on her tiptoes to pat his shoulder, and complained:
"Old Caelus, what should I do? My easy career at the Divination Commission is probably going to be completely ruined."
"If I don't do this well, there's a danger of being expelled from the Divination Commission. If I do it well, then the Master Diviner will definitely throw even more heavy and important actions at me in the future."
"This little sparrow... I'm really done for this time!"
