Kanan, a boy from Melody Village, is the farthest thing from a beast tamer. Growing up alone in the remote countryside, each day is a struggle. But hard times demand harder solutions, and the young protagonist sets off into the dangerous wilderness to survive. However, his struggles drive him into a fateful encounter. Kanan, chased by beasts and starving, is rescued by a small beast, and together they set off on a journey that will reshape the beast taming world.
