The next morning arrived wrapped in soft golden light spilling through the tall classroom windows, the quiet calm of before class time settling over the room like a gentle pause before chaos. Bags were half open, chairs slightly crooked, and the air still held the sleepy warmth of early morning.
And right in the center of it, Boo was giving what he clearly believed was a very important political speech.
He floated slightly above a desk like a tiny ghost candidate running for mayor, tail swishing dramatically behind him as he gestured with invisible authority.
"If you give me vote," Boo announced grandly, voice echoing like he was speaking to a stadium instead of six babies, "I can ask teacher to add more toys in classroom. And more snack breaks. And maybe less homework. And maybe nap time extension."
He paused for effect.
"And maybe personal ghost security protection service."
