"You know me? Guess, it's only natural." Shigure said, shrugging.
"Indeed. Nezu had told a lot about you." All Might's expression briefly turned complicated.
'He does seem like a normal kid. Guess he must have a lot of experience in masking himself. If I hadn't found Midoriya, then he would have been the highly likely candidate to inherit One For All.' Yagi remembered his conversation with Nezu.
Shigure had been one of the prime candidates, along with Mirio, who had recently been added.
If Yagi hadn't found Midoriya by the time U.A. starts next year, then the quirk would have gone to Shigure.
"Well, we will talk later. Nezu was telling that he wanted to keep a meeting, so we will talk then." Shigure smiled.
Yagi nodded. "Right."
"Well, we will be going then," Momo said, before looking at her taser. She then gave it to the officer.
"I can't take it. People would misunderstand that I am taking a bribe or something." The police officer gave the taser back to Momo.
'Isn't there a law to detain firearms or something? Guess, a taser could be considered a self-defence equipment that ordinary civilians could carry.' Shigure thought.
"Well, why don't you take it? Maybe some villains might prefer to get tased instead of getting punched by you." All Might awkwardly took the taser.
"Thank you. I will definitely put it to good use."
"..."
"..."
"..."
'He actually took it?' Everyone had the same thought.
Momo was just joking when she said that.
"Well, till we meet again." Shigure waved before walking away with Momo.
After walking for a minute, Momo finally opened her mouth, "What was that 'till we meet again'? Can't you have just used a normal 'bye'?" She stifled a laugh.
Shigure deadpanned. "You were the one who made things awkward. It's all your fault that I came up with such a phrase." He pointed his finger at her.
Momo rolled her eyes. "Yeah, everything is my fault. The reason you passed is also my fault. The reason we encountered the villains..." Shigure tuned out her rant.
'One For All... It's a shame that I am letting go of a huge energy source... Then again, I don't want to die due to the singularity problem. Izuku is perfect for the quirk.' He remembered the Sludge Villain Incident that happened a few months ago. Shigure had been quite nervous whether that event would happen or not, so he had been scouring the news.
Luckily, the incident happened similarly to Canon.
'What a selfless idiot...' He shook his head at the absurdity of people with a hero complex.
'Moreover, let's say my quirk somehow allowed me to prevent the singularity problem, I definitely don't want to have some ever-present ghosts in my quirk.'
Shigure knew that those two were surface-level reasons. They weren't the actual reason why he didn't want OFA.
'The main reason is... I don't want anything to interfere with my quirk... I won't be me anymore if that happens.' His eyes turned cloudy.
"HEY", Shigure blinked. He turned his head towards Momo, who was looking at him with a glare.
"Sorry?"
"We are here." She said while pointing in front. The door just opened when she said that.
Shigure entered along with her. "Lucky us. There isn't much rush."
"Is that so?" Momo was looking around, inspecting everything. She wasn't looking like a rich ojou-sama, but rather a cat who had first found a wool ball.
Shigure just watched her do that for the next few minutes.
Momo watched him look at her like that and cleared her throat. "Ahem. I was just looking around to find the points where we can escape in case of a villain attack."
Shigure's amused look turned into one of horror. "Flag..." His expression then turned into resignation.
Momo's eyes widened, just realising her mistake.
"I...I have no words."
"So do I have." Shigure shook his head, turning his head to look at the ceiling.
'Does she really have a secret quirk which could raise a flag or...' His eyes turned serious.
He recalled a discussion with Nezu. 'It's fine. Everything is still fine. I will tell him about this day next time I meet.'
He remembered that Nezu had told him that after he got the provisional license exam, he would get more freedom to act alone. Moreover, he could also intern more freely with the instructors.
In the last year, he had patrolled with multiple Pros working in the U.A
"Say, didn't you want me to join you on your stream tonight?" Momo asked.
Shigure shifted his attention to her. "Yeah. I have hyped you up quite a lot. With such pressure, people's expectations are definitely going to drop when they actually see you play. So, if you want to back off now, you could." He smirked.
"Bastard." She glared at him. "Anyway, I don't mind. However, I don't want to show my face. Preferably, my identity too."
Shigure nodded. "Fair. Just be on voice chat with me during the game. It should be fine." He waved his hand.
The train ride was surprisingly smooth. They didn't go or jump either on the trip or on their way to the apartment.
"You are not going home?" Shigure raised a brow. Momo rarely slept over at her house in this apartment. Especially so, if there was an occasion like today, where she got the license.
Momo shrugged, pressing the button for the lift. "Yeah. Dad's busy, and Mom should still be working. I am going to have dinner with her before she leaves. These exams weren't really that hyped in my family."
Shigure tilted his head, "Wait, but isn't your Mom an ex-hero? I thought it would be more... like an occasion."
"Normally, yes. But, all the fuzz disappeared when I beat Mom in a spar once."
"...Makes sense." It would be natural for Momo to pass the exams. So, it makes sense not to have a grand celebration.
"You didn't tell her about my quirk, right?" Shigure asked for surety.
"Nope." Momo shook her head. "Though she definitely suspects something. It's not normal for a person to have an awakening and get this proficient so quickly."
Shigure nodded. "That's fine. Just need to keep it hush for a few years. After that, it won't matter." 'After that, even if people know, there won't be anyone who will be able to do anything to me.'
"Right." They exited the lift before going in the opposite direction.

"Yo Guys, how's it going? Today we have a special guest." Shigure started the stream.

Shigure had garnered quite an attention, especially due to his achievements in tech and his gaming skills. Him being a 14-year-old only boosted the absurdity.
"Yup. This time it's a pro girl not a noob old man. The one I was hyping about. Why don't you introduce yourself?"
"Hi." Just Momo's voice came.

"Well, fair warning. I told you that she was in the top 100 a few months ago. Unfortunately, that isn't the case anymore." Shigure paused, smirking.
A few seconds later, he continued. "She's now in the TOP 10."

"Thanks for doxing me." A deadpan voice came from the other side.
Shigure blinked. "Oh... Anyway, unfortunately, bullying her in-game isn't as easy as it used to be. We will start the game right away."
{ Innocent_Maiden: Poor girl. At least there are 2 Japanese girls in the leaderboard. So, there's a chance that it would be fine. }

{ Shogun's_No_1_Supporter: Start the game already. I am quite excited. }
They started the game.
"You drop to the north and I will drop to the South," Shigure suggested while they were in a flying bus.
"Nope. You will get more kills due to the time I will have to wait for the drop. You go west and I will go east. We will meet in the middle."
"Fine."
They were playing a duo vs squad battle royale. Around 100 players were present.
"Let's make a bet about who gets more number of kills," Shigure suggested.
"I will pass."
"Tch." He clicked his tongue.
He landed and quickly picked up a pistol and headshot the guy who had almost landed.
"It seems you guys will see the result after the game ends," Shigure said, while reading the chat.
He had gotten very familiar with the game. They were playing in the top lobby, so the competition is supposed to be at its peak. This also gives us good entertainment for viewers.
...One match later.
Expectedly, both of them won.
"Damn, I almost lost," Shigure said while looking at the kills.

The chat went silent.
{ Lightning_Rizzler : Bro, are you sure, this is the top lobby? Seeing you play, it doesn't look like it. You are still understandable. How is that girl also ridiculous? }
{ Innocent_Maiden : I want to see her point of view. Can you ask her to put that? You can turn on the multiple-screen option. }
{ Shogun's_No_1_Supporter: I also want to see her pov. }
"Hey, can you share your pov?" On the website he twitched, he could share multiple screens. People could choose which screen they want to see. Though the chat is the same, along with the voice input from the streamer side.
"Fine. Give me a minute."
"While we wait, let me tell you something. We—I participated in the Provisional Hero License Exam and met a fan today. She didn't give me her username, though." Shigure decided to discuss this.
As expected, the chat erupted.
