Inside the Stern manor, Dennis sat behind his usual desk, with his trusted right-hand man, Fred, beside him. Lately, Dennis had been spending more time at home and less time travelling between businesses, attending board meetings, and overseeing matters in person.
There were several reasons for the change, but remaining at the manor gave him more time to think about other things. One particular development had recently caught his attention.
"Can you believe it? That young boy Max has really caused quite a stir," Dennis said with a chuckle. "I knew there was something different in his eyes, so I expected him to do something. But when he called asking for that loan, I thought he had the balls of a lion. That's more courage than I've seen from most of the Stern family."
"Indeed, sir," Fred replied. "Since coming of age, he has increased his wealth more quickly than anyone else. His progress has been even more impressive than Donto's."
