Then suddenly she heard a familiar eerie voice. It's like whispering to her.
Touch it... Touch...touch
Listening to the eerie voice she felt goosebumps all over her body. The voice did not stop even for a second it just kept repeating. She covered her ears in a terrified state but it didn't do much.
She regretted following the voice that brought her here, but she doesn't have a choice either because even if she desperately wanted to follow along with Jena, she can't take or move another step.
She wanted to run but was unable to do so because her feet were like glue to the ground.
"I don't want to touch, don't want, don't want." She mumbled repeatedly.
Then out of the blue, she mindlessly touch the meteorite with her right hand. She screams internally and frantically said, "Oh no, I touch it!"
Then it suddenly turned to a black dust, the black dust formed to a ball, floating in front of her.
Moments after, she saw some black dust from other direction flew and merge with the one in front of her and the black dust grew bigger and bigger until it flew towards her, circling all over her then it penetrates her heart and little by little it disappears completely.
She was shocked and dazed, she looked around if anyone saw what happened. She sighed in relief that no one had seen what had taken place.
Of course, no one saw it because after she took ten steps near the meteorite, a white transparent barrier was activated, the barrier was beyond the range of ordinary human sight can see. No human can see except if one is not a human.
The barrier also created illusion to hide what is happening inside, and if other people pass by.
In their eyes there's nothing strange happening, just an ordinary meteorite lying on the ground, nothing more than that because the barrier absolutely erases her presence making her invisible like a soul.
After what just happened, Sena took a time in analyzing her thoughts and suspicion.
Those voices that are manipulating me from the moment I step out of that peculiar stone, to touch that strange meteorite, disappeared.
It's really strange, as there are 1-2 meteorites I have passed by, why not those, is it because they are just ordinary looking, they are not special looking, just like the one a moment ago.
Furthermore,i saw some dust from the other direction flew and merged with the one in front of me a while ago. I am sure that the other dusts come from the other meteorites and just a while ago, I took a chance to look at the situation outside the stone cave however when I returned, I started to doubt myself if I'm in a dream because even in a near distance i can't even see the hollow inside of that peculiar stone only its outside surface. So it's impossible for a normal stone to create an illusion.
Additionally, the shape of that peculiar stone was kind of a jaw dropping spectacular, unbelievable but not impossible to create, it's just that its in the middle of the road, its impossible to make a prank about this.
Moreover, my hair turned white and my eyes turned blue just after the accident and my wound does not even sting but actually healing itself, slowly, unable for the naked eye to see.
This situation of mine is becoming increasingly so bizarre. Strange things that defile reality are happening, like I'm in a dream but I feel its not. It feels like something out of a book, but now I'm beginning to believe that this is now my reality.
After reflecting her thoughts, she left the place without looking back. Unknown to her, the barrier covering the area disappeared into nothingness. Additionally, the thick fog that was wrapping around the whole area is beginning to dissipate slowly however Sena didn't realize it as her attention was on something else.
Walking towards where the peculiar stone was, she quickly sped up her footsteps.
Getting what she wanted, she left and walked towards where Jena had just gone out but when she took 10 steps, the peculiar stone crumbled to dust.
Seeing it crumbled with her own eyes, many questions were left unsolved, even if she thought deeper about it, she didn't have the answer however she believes that from the moment the meteorites fall, the world has changed.
As she walk towards where Jena had just gone out, she saw some ordinary meteorites.
I thought they turned to dust, along with that special looking strange meteorite but it seems they did not, they're just ordinary.
Aside from the special looking strange meteorite, I personally encountered, maybe there are some other special looking strange meteorite, I did not stumble upon, yet they turned to black dust and merge with the one, I had encountered.
Sena finally breathe in relief, as she pass through the gap.
Seeing a girl with an uncommon appearance walking towards the camp, the rescuers in the distance were not totally surprised by her look because the rescuers encountered many fantasy things just before now.
Unbeknownst to Sena, behind her was a mysterious man in black robe blending in the fog, following her, throughout her journey inside the fog like maze. Seeing her leave, the man disappeared.
Seeing Sena walking, An unfamiliar woman, standing beside Jena asked with confirmation, "Is that her?" The unfamiliar woman has shoulder length black hair and black eyes.
"Yes." Jena nodded in reply, and when she saw that Sena found her backpack she felt quite relieved.
Sena looked at Jena, sitting on a chair while talking at an unfamiliar woman beside her. She waved her hand at Jena, and Jena waved her hand in reply.
Sena saw a sturdy man with broad shoulders walking towards her with black hair and eyes, who looked like he was around 27 years old, dressed in a rescuer's outfit. He stopped in front of her and said, "Follow me, Maam. To record your identity and for a health check up."
Sena nodded and followed the rescuer. As she walked, she looked around and saw many dead bodies covered with cloth. When they arrived at the tent, the rescuer took a paper from the table and said, "Just write your name in this paper and someone will arrive later."
After some instruction, he left the tent and a moment later, a female doctor appeared, with black hair and eyes, she looked like 27, young and beautiful.
