"The Sun-gold alliance?" I asked. "I remember a popular corporation from my planet with the same name."
" Oh?" The man on the right chimed in. "Are you perhaps from earth?"
"...indeed. Say, how do you know about it?" I wondered, after a moment of shock.
"You must be new here, I assume." The man in the center chuckled. "My name is Ethan. However, it makes sense that others don't know about the sky. This entire area is considered forbidden knowledge."
I sat back on the couch and stared at the ceiling for a good minute, trying to collect my thoughts. Eventually, I asked: "Ethan, as in Ethan Banchin? The leader of the sun-gold alliance?"
"The one and the same." He confirmed. "Anyways, our reason for visiting you today is to invite you to join our alliance."
"Before that, what would joining entail?" I said, knowing that joining could reveal many cards I've been trying to hide.
" Joining ensures basic protection against monsters, however, in return, you must allow a branch of the alliance to be established here." The woman, who I later learned was called Miss S, said.
She slid me a packet detailing everything. "Take your time to decide. We will come back in about 3 days to get your answer."
