Earn little, demand little, loyal, and not causing trouble, most importantly, possessing considerable abilities!
Such a Longevity Realm Elder is naturally needed by a sacred land.
Of course, even so, the number of these living-dead Elders cannot be too many. After all, they are Longevity Realm powerhouses. Even if their resource needs are minimal, if their number accumulates too much at the same time, it would place a considerable resource consumption pressure on the Holy Land.
So, most sacred lands do not extend the lives of these 'single-mindedly shutting themselves away' living-dead Longevity Elders, simply allowing them to wither away when their innate lifespan reaches its limit.
Of course, there are exceptions.
