The mercenaries were panicked, some even began to curse.
"What the hell are these things!"
"Get away! Get away from me!"
"Did we really see ghosts? It's terrifying!"
Just as the words fell, a mercenary was grabbed by her hair by a ghostly apparition, letting out a piercing scream.
"Stop yelling! Shoot now!"
A blonde-haired, green-eyed senior female mercenary, Athena, loudly commanded.
The soldiers immediately raised their guns to shoot, but the bullets passed through the apparitions, hitting the walls, while the apparitions remained unscathed.
Seeing this, the mercenaries were nearly collapsing.
Strangely, the medical staff inside were not attacked by the apparitions. Though they were scared, they saw the apparitions targeting only the mercenaries and the Red Scarf Army, so they took the opportunity to escape to the emergency room, where there was a backdoor to flee.
