Chapter 1 - PROLOGUE : The Boy and His Camera

The hum of an old film reel played softly in the background, filling the small room with a comforting warmth. A boy, no older than ten, sat cross-legged on the wooden floor, his chin resting on his hands as he watched the flickering images dance across the wall.

The footage was old, slightly grainy, but it didn't matter. His father's voice echoed from the speakers, full of excitement and wonder.

"A great cameraman doesn't just capture the moment, son… he preserves the soul of the story!"

The boy giggled, his eyes sparkling as a legendary battle played out on the screen. A warrior in silver armor clashed swords with a fiery demon, their strikes sending waves of energy across the battlefield. The camera work was masterful—zooming in at the perfect moments, capturing every expression, every movement, every explosion of magic.

He turned to his father, who was busy adjusting the settings on an old, weathered camera sitting on the table. It was an old model, with scratches along the edges and buttons that looked like they had been pressed a million times. But to the boy, it was perfect.

"Dad, this is so cool! The angles! The action! It's like I'm really there! "His father chuckled, ruffling his hair. "That's the magic of a great cameraman, kiddo. With the right shot, you can make people feel the story—even if they weren't there to see it."

The boy nodded enthusiastically, his small hands reaching for the camera. "Can I try?"

His father smiled. "Of course. But remember, a cameraman has to do more than just point and shoot. He has to see the world differently."

The boy didn't understand at the time, but he would never forget those words.

Years Later…

The once-small boy had grown into a teenager, standing alone in his dimly lit bedroom, staring at the same old camera.

His father was gone now. It had been years since the accident, but he still couldn't bring himself to move on. The camera—his father's greatest treasure—was now his, and yet… he hadn't used it once.

Not because he didn't want to. But because reality just wasn't as exciting as the films they used to watch together.

He loved anime, manhwa, and fantasy stories. He loved epic battles, legendary warriors, and overpowered heroes. He had spent hours imagining what it would be like to be there, standing in the middle of an ancient battlefield, watching history unfold before his eyes.

But no matter how much he dreamed… he was just a normal guy. And normal guys didn't get to see magic in real life.

At least, that's what he thought.

Until his camera turned on by itself.

"W-What the—?!"

The screen flickered wildly, displaying something impossible—a vast battlefield, knights clashing with monstrous creatures, spells exploding like fireworks in the sky. It looked real. Too real.

Then, a message appeared.

[System Activation: Welcome, Cameraman.]

Before he could react, the screen glowed brightly, and a strange sensation washed over him. It felt like being pulled forward, like stepping through a doorway that wasn't there.

And in the next instant—

The floor vanished. The room disappeared. The air smelled different, the wind felt too real, and the distant sound of clashing swords rang in his ears.

He looked around, eyes wide. He wasn't in his bedroom anymore.

He was inside the battlefield from the screen.

And just like that… his greatest adventure had begun.
