The door hadn't even fully closed when Luca looked up.
One glance at their faces was enough.
"What," he said flatly, brows creasing. "Why are you still here?"
Eliana didn't sit. Liam didn't either.
"We just got back," Eliana said carefully. "Gabrielle has started working with Alexandria."
The room went still.
For exactly half a second.
Then Luca laughed once, sharp and disbelieving. "Are you kidding me?"
Liam let out a slow breath. "She told us herself. Alexandria was there."
The laugh vanished.
"Fuck," Luca said.
Then louder, angrier, "FUCK."
He shoved his chair back and stood, hands already moving, pacing like a caged thing. "That bitch," he snapped. "That Alexandria bitch. I will kill her."
"Luca," Eliana said immediately, stepping closer. "Breathe."
"She knew," he went on, not hearing her. "She knew this was for summer. This is my entire next season." He dragged a hand through his hair. "I built the whole damn line around it."
His voice broke. Not loud, but raw.
