Damon's figure was still as more and more attacks continued pelting him. With the time, some of the Gods started preparing extremely powerful spells. Even entire worlds wouldn't stand the aftermath such powerful attacks.
A vast golden wheel unfolded behind the elderly god, its outer edge turning slowly as inscriptions appeared along its surface. Each symbol drew power from the next until the entire thing shone brightly enough to swallow the stars behind it.
Farther away, a woman raised both hands above her head. White flames gathered between her palms, compressing into a sphere no larger than a human skull. Damon could feel its heat even through the attacks bursting against his body.
Minnahithaya coiled around the battlefield. Lightning traveled along his enormous spine, gathering at his whiskers while his pale eyes remained fixed on Damon.
The weaker attacks continued without interruption, keeping him trapped while the others prepared to finish him.
