Conceived from love and grace, 
Winter came in gentle form, 
Paving way for wandering wish
Of a kind queen
As she whispered
For a daughter whose eyes were gold,
Lips rosy like the dawn, 
And skin white as snow—
A lone lovely edelweiss flower
She will be until she is born.

Born indeed was the flower of the kingdom, 
Yet travesty came—
Coming forth in many folds, 
Sorrow after sorrow,
Pain after pain.
Despite it all,
Despite the burden of never-ending winter
And death coming from
A poisoned apple, 
The Edelweiss Princess,
Kind and loving heart that she was, 
Would conquer it all…
