Xiaonuan was in the car on her way home, passing through the center square.
Suddenly, she felt like taking a walk by herself, so she told the driver to stop.
The driver hesitated slightly but eventually stopped.
"Young Madam, shall I wait for you here?"
"No need." Xia Xiaonuan said as she got out of the car, "I'll take a stroll on my own and take a cab home. You can go back to the hospital."
"But you're alone..."
"It's fine, it's not even dark yet, is it?" Xia Xiaonuan smiled and said, "If I need you, I'll call you."
The driver, worried that Young Master might need the car, respectfully smiled and said, "Alright then, I'll head back to the hospital. Young Madam, if you need anything, feel free to call me."
Xia Xiaonuan nodded, watched the car leave; the center square was crowded with people in the evening, with people strolling everywhere.
The evening breeze brushed against her face, carrying with it bursts of laughter from the passing crowd.
