Assistant Yu glanced at the speaker with a perfunctory smile and said, "Why aren't you staying by Hua Tiantian's side? Aren't you afraid she'll be upset?"
"Afraid of what? Our Tiantian has a great temper. It's fine, nothing to do anyway—might as well chat for a bit."
The cheerful tone sparked a feeling of envy in Yu.
Originally, she had to constantly mind her words and actions around Huang Shan, and recently Huang Shan's selfishness and pettiness had resulted in frequent targeting of Hua Tiantian. But Tiantian's focus was entirely on acting and didn't truly hold any grudge against Huang Shan. The more Yu thought about it, the more meaningless everything seemed.
"Why do you look so glum?"
"Me? Glum? I don't think so."
During their short exchange, Hua Tiantian finished her scene and walked over. Seeing the two assistants chatting idly, she caught on quickly and gave them a playful wink.
