Chapter 515 - Chapter 514: Three Meals a Day

"I saw you fiddling with something outside just now. It vanished in an instant, like a few thermos flasks."

Torifu smiled and waved his hand. "It's nothing; don't worry about it." He then gave Naori the space ring he had bought from the system store. Naori was a little surprised when she saw it. "Why are you giving me another ring? This is the third one now."

"This one is different. Try injecting some Chakra into it."

Naori put the ring on her hand, half-believing, and then injected a wisp of Chakra from her body into the ring. The ordinary-looking ring suddenly emitted a gentle, shimmering glow—a sign that it had accepted its master.

After accepting its master, Naori immediately realized the ring's unique quality.

"This... what is this thing?" Naori didn't know the purpose of this item. Aside from Torifu, no one else in Konoha Village knew what a Space Ring was.

"This is a Space Ring. You should be able to sense that there are over a hundred cubic meters of space inside. You can control it with your consciousness to place objects in or take them out."

Naori immediately thought of the one on Torifu's hand, and before she could ask, Torifu said, "It took me a long time, but I really did manage to create another one. It's just that the space inside this one can't compare to mine."

Naori felt this ring was much better than her wedding ring! It was such a practical item! It could store over a hundred cubic meters of objects—enough to fit her entire previous house! Moreover, after accepting its master, the ring continuously emitted a gentle glow, making it look beautiful. Even compared to the previous engagement ring and wedding ring, it was by no means inferior. In fact, due to its function, it immediately became Naori's favorite ring.

"Why didn't you give me the ring sooner? It would have saved me all those trips this morning!"

Torifu scratched his head, feeling embarrassed. "Ah, haha... can I say I forgot?"

"Hmph, don't let it happen again!"

Naori already had some of the bearing of a Matriarch, which Torifu felt was a good thing. As the Hokage's wife, how could she earn the respect of others without some authority? Although Mito was usually gentle and amiable, if you genuinely made his Master's wife angry, there would definitely be severe consequences. Torifu didn't think Naori would become exactly like his Master's wife, but it was always good for her to be more confident and commanding. After all, Naori could now be considered the most famous woman in the world. Once the Kage returned to their respective villages, the news of the wedding held in the sky would spread throughout the entire Ninja World. Naori's reputation would become very prominent.

Naori sat on the chair in the pavilion, admiring her Space Ring under the sun from every angle. The more she looked, the more beautiful it seemed. Then, with a thought, she aimed the ring at the stone table beside her. In an instant, the stone table disappeared. This greatly surprised Naori. She had expected that this 'imperfect' ring would require some time to activate. She didn't expect it to be exactly like Torifu's perfect version, instantly sucking the object inside. Every time she had seen Torifu use it before, she had been extremely envious, but unfortunately, Torifu didn't have a second one. She never expected to receive the very thing she desired on the second day of their marriage. Her entire mood became wonderfully cheerful. And Torifu was taking her somewhere tonight. Naori was beginning to feel a quiet anticipation.

"Oh, Torifu, should we bring Minato and the others with us tonight?"

Torifu shook his head when he heard this. "Why bring them? To be third wheels? It'll just be the two of us." He then added, "They can see it just by standing on the main street; they don't need to come with us."

From Torifu's tone, he must have created something spectacular again. However, Naori couldn't ask now, so she decided to put it out of her mind for the time being.

Time flew by, and it was soon time for dinner. Minato had returned home after completing his mission. Although Minato hadn't stopped training during these few days off, he couldn't immediately take on long-distance missions. He needed to do some simple tasks first to practice and get back his feel for things. Secondly, the Ninja World had been very peaceful recently, with few requests for aid from other countries. Perhaps everyone knew it was the Hokage-sama's wedding period. If they were to cause turmoil in the Ninja World during this time, their entire nation might be destroyed by Torifu's wrath. This was the most important moment of his life. No one wanted their wedding to be ruined.

"Minato, go buy some groceries and come back. We'll fry a few extra dishes tonight."

Minato immediately nodded, and then darted out of the compound. After about ten minutes, they thought Minato had returned, but instead, it was Yahiko and Konan who entered.

"Master, Mistress, we're back!"

Yahiko and Konan ran out to help Torifu after putting down their bags inside. Yahiko was in charge of washing the vegetables, and Konan was in charge of picking them. A minute or two later, Minato also returned, carrying two bags of vegetables and a piece of meat.

"You two, you ran so fast! I called out to you, but you didn't hear me."

Yahiko scratched his head. "Did you? I didn't hear your voice at all, Minato."

Minato waved his hand. "No matter. You two wash these vegetables. Big Brother said we're frying a few extra dishes tonight." He then carried the pork into the kitchen. Torifu and Naori were already busy inside, with Amado directing them from the side. The small kitchen was so crowded it fit three adults. Shoving and bumping, Minato was eventually squeezed out. He was still a bit confused but quickly recovered and went to help his junior disciples wash the vegetables.

Inside the kitchen, Torifu skillfully used the iron spatula to quickly stir-fry the ingredients in the wok. Soon, one dish was ready. Amado nudged Torifu aside and took over the position of head cook, sending Torifu to chop ingredients instead. Naori was on the side, responsible for preparing the serving bowls. The entire courtyard was filled with the aroma of cooking, looking perfectly harmonious.

Wasn't this the life Torifu wanted? Simple and steady, with three meals a day. But if that phrase were applied to yesterday's grand occasion, it wouldn't fit at all... After all, whose simple life takes place in the sky?

Amado's cooking speed was noticeably faster than Torifu's. One dish after another was quickly taken out of the wok and brought to the dining table. By the time all eight dishes were ready, the first dish hadn't even cooled yet.

"Come on, everyone, try my cooking."

Amado had cooked often before, so everyone was familiar with his taste. It was just that Amado had been very busy later on and didn't handle these things much. Recently, his biological clock had adjusted back, and he looked much more energetic.
