Okay, hello everyone! I do hope your day is going well.
I am here to inform everyone that this series will be going on hiatus for several reasons.
First, I want to say that there are still quite a few chapters that I have already written, and yes, this hiatus has actually been planned for several months.
To be exact, there are around 15–20 (maybe) chapters that I could upload. However, I have decided to take a pause from this series for a little while.
Now, moving on to the reasons as to why this series is being put on hiatus.

1. I'm working on something else.
I am currently working on another project, and I want to give myself more time to get it prepared before I start focusing on releasing it.
2. This series hasn't performed as well as I originally thought it would.
When I first began publishing this series weekly, I had fairly high expectations for how it would perform. Unfortunately, it hasn't quite reached those expectations.
Though, if I'm being completely honest, I don't necessarily blame the story itself for that. I believe a large part of it may simply come down to my own writing ability at the time. I may have screwed up certain aspects of the story without realizing it.
I don't really know for certain, though.
I believed that the power system was pretty nice. I thought the whole premise of using "Sequences" to gauge the level of a character was decent, and I genuinely thought the story itself was pretty good.
However, after going back and reading through some of it recently, I realize that it isn't exactly what I imagined it would become when I first started writing it.
3. There are other things I've been doing recently.
Writing isn't the only thing I've been occupied with lately, and I'd like to give myself some more time to focus on those things as well.

Now, for the sake of anyone who is actually still reading this series and waiting for another chapter every week, I sincerely apologize for the hiatus.
But there is also some good news that comes along with this.
While I am working on my other novel and getting it ready, I will also continue looking through the draft chapters for this series and adding more chapters whenever I can.
It will probably be quite slow, but I will still be working on it.
I'll also admit that I don't have many more ideas for this series at the moment. So, if you have any ideas, suggestions, or things you'd like to see happen, please feel free to leave a comment. I would genuinely appreciate any ideas you might have.
For anyone curious about where I currently am in the drafts, Zay/Sable is currently traveling in a caravan while protecting a princess of a kingdom as part of an escort mission.
That's pretty much everything I wanted to say.
